Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Reception Staff The hotel reception staff should understand that they work for a resort which has very good reputation and should be maintained. What I observed in my last stay that when more than one customer are at the front desk, the reception staff should be smart enough to reconize and know who is next in the que to be served or helped, NOT to leave it to their instinct. They even handed a copy of the reciept without an envelope!, I thought that was unprofessional. June 29, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not an IHG hotel Staffs do not know about IHG membership, platinum elite or ambassador. There is no upgrade, no excuse, no welcome, no nothing. Just like a regular guest. I could hardly get a "late" check out up to 2pm. Location is perfect, but mind is not. First time I felt like this in an IHG hotel. Other times, usually staffs know about IHG membership and welcome me. I think I will visit again, although not satisfied. If you visit, do not expect anything, otherwise disappointment guaranteed. I asked the reception for late checkout and he give me up to 4 PM. unfortunately At 2:30 PM they send someone to check the room and he entered the room while I was sleeping along with my family without even knocking the door no call from reception before that, when I called them to complain about this irresponsible behavior I found that I’m the one who’s mistaken. Poor communication between the hotel stuff and there’s no recognition to IHG club members. May 4, 2014

As this was disappointing .. furniture was uncomfortable and iron, as well as that of the cheap kind that does not conform to a global brand such as the Holiday Inn. April 29, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stay Away! If you're looking for a real resort with relaxation in mind, don't bother going to Holiday Inn Half Moon Bay. The place is a disaster. The rooms are way overdue for an upgrade. The mini-fridge and cooking range are so badly stained we refused to use them, the seating area in our private balcony was littered with cigarette butts and open snack .... from a previous hotel guest. The doors look like they've been removed from some haunted mansion with the rust and creaking. The neighbors may as well be in your room - the sound proofing between the doors is non existent. And if your order something off the menu at the poolside, don't expect the food you receive to match what you saw on the menu. My wife ordered a sandwich that was to have aubergine on brown bread and what she got was vegetable on white bread. Unfortunately, it took so long to arrive she didn't care anymore and ate whatever she received. Certainly not the epitome of service here. Good luck with your stay! March 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MY Experience Resort is good but need renovation, temperature control to be installed in the swimming pool to enjoy even in winter. Request to provide at least the complimentary breakfast for IHG members as there is no restaurant nearby but to drive 50 km (both way 100km)to get the food if we don’t want to have the open buffet lunch from the hotel restaurant. Other than this the service was excellent and we enjoyed the stay. January 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not recommended at all The kitchenette is empty! The only thing in the drawers is dust! Does the hotel expect the guest to bring the dishes from home?!!! So kitchenette is useless. Villa was not clean, floor is full with dust. Bed is not comfortable. Bad smell in the bedroom. Food in the restaurant is not as per Holiday Inn quality, we had to drive around 50KM each way to get food, despite we didn't like the food, the restaurant charged us 100SR by mistake and I had to fight to get it at the check-out time! For sure not staying here again. November 6, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A lot of potential with no attention ! The resort has very good location, great private beach, however it needs serious refurbishment! The furniture back to 90's I think, Serious issue with AC system!. Finally, I would like to thank the duty manager who upgraded us from 2 to 3 bedroom villa due the AC failure. August 4, 2013
