Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by superb hotel but the food prices are high Superb stay at the resort. Staff were exceptional , as were the services, pools and rooms. We had a wonderful relaxing stay and were pampered by the staff. It was an outstanding experience marred slightly by one thing. The restaurants were excellent and the food was top quality. However, the food prices are high . I understand this for alcohol, as its the same for the whole country. But the dishes were very expensive for what we got. ( e.g. £21 for the burger and fries? The 'usual' budget food at this type of hotel is the buffet dinner which can be very good value. The buffet here is £25 pp without drinks.). If you intend staying here with kids, the cost of the food will easily exceed the cost of the room several times over. My wife and I didn't have lunch on any day, nor drinks by the pool, but our bill exceeded the room charge. That said, its a lovely resort and the price we paid for the room was very competitive, I will definitely stay again, but now know to ask the cab driver to stop at a supermarket before we enter the resort, to soften the blow. ( bear in mind that its away from the other hotels and shops, so once you're in, you're a captive audience.) October 30, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Erholsames Wochenende Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit schöner Pool Anlage. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Die Klimaanlage macht geräusche. Das Bett war Kompfortabel und wir konnten gut schlafen. Die Pool Anlage ist sauber und es gibt ausreichend Handtücher am Pool. Der zugang zum Toten Meer wurde neu gestaltet, es gibt dort Liegen mit Sonnenschirme und eine Dusche. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Restaurants im Hotel sind leider nicht der Hit. Das Arabische Restaurant Shrak sollte Schreck heisen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut, wenn nicht zuviele Gäste anwesend sind. Ansonsten ist das Personal schnell überfordert. Leider sind an den Balkon Türen keine Fliegengitter angebracht, somit ist es wegen den Moskitos nicht möglich die Türen in der Nacht zu öffnen.
