Easy access to beach for long walks or relaxing in sun and listening to music provided by live bands etc. Close proximity to other island destinations. Great place for both families May 31, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Stay, Good Hotel, Great Location First impressions: staff very nice and informative, hotel looks dated but clean and organized. The room (2 bed queen) is pretty average but clean and furnished with all modern appliances and furniture. Would like to have had a microwave equipped with the room but did not. The cleaning staff is very customer oriented and accomodating. I think in the later hours of the day they should make sure their cleaning carts are not blocking the hallways. This was noticed each day we were there. The hotel restaurant is great and convenient and located pool side. The hotel pool and patio is great, big and comfortable. There's a big screen TV overlooking the area and current movies are played at night. The Tik Hut is great also and is located beach side. We were treated to music concerts beach side during the holiday weekend.. There is tons of shops, restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores all within easy quick walking distance so you can leave the car in the the parking lot for most of the time. The hotel offered us an extra day at about only 40% of what we originally paid per day so we took the offer. (thanks hotel Mgmnt.) All n all a great place, great stay and we would definitely stay again in the future as well as reccomend to others. May 30, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good price but party central We took a last-minute family vacation and their price was better than anyone else around so we gave them a shot. Little did we know that spring break epicenter was happening on the beach in front of the hotel . Whether that was planned or it just happened I'm not sure but the drunken party groups surrounding the hotel certainly did not make it a family-friendly place. May 29, 2015

We loved that we could walk to anywhere we wanted to go.Everything is within a short distance !Great selection of Restaurants , Bars and Shopping ! Our favorite was The Porch Bar and Grill right by the Hotel on the beach and by the pool! The bartenders Bethany and Craig really made us feel welcome and were cheerful ,funny and informing. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional Customer Service was provided to a weary traveler. After a 13 hours road trip we pulled into this hotel - tired and hungry. We were greated by Fabianna at the front desk. Within a few minutes of arrival she may us feel like we were VIP's. She ensured I received point for my stay . She upgraded our room - ensuring we had a room with a view. We quickly went from tired travelers to happy vacationer. Fabianna and our front desk experience was the catalyst to our great stay ! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very unappealing! During the check-in process, the attendant acted as though she was being bothered by my presence. When I explained to her that I had a reservation, she stated that she was in the middle of an audit. I guess I was supposed to take that as my problem and come back at a later time that was more convienient for her. The attendant was not helpful at all. I had to ask which direction my room was. I had to ask where I could park my vehicle. The attendant did not make me feel welcomed at all. Upon entering the room, I noticed the carpet was very stained/discolored which gave a very dirty appearance. The shower appeared very unclean. There was hair in the tub which indicated it had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to my arrival. In order to make the toilet flush, I had to physically hold the lever down until the water level dropped. There was a very foul odor throughout the entire room. The AC would only stay on for 10 min at a time. I was locked out of my room because the access box on the door malfunctioned. I awoke to the comforting sounds of the vacuum cleaner at 6:30am instead of waves crashing onto the beach. It seems to me that at 6:30am, when on vacation, a vacuum cleaner at that time of day is a bit disruptive. I'd rather spend the night in my vehicle than to stay here again!! Enter at your own risk!! They should have started a couple of years ago. However they have not started renovation. They desperately need to renovate this hotel.

The rooms with 1 king bed and 1 bunk bed do not have a balcony. If you prefer one of our oceanfront rooms with balcony, the bed options are either king or two double beds.
