I travel a lot and the staff at the Running Y is the best. They are always friendly, the food is fantastic, and the rooms are quiet with great views.

We were really happy and impressed with this particular property. It really did feel like a resort and our family loved it. I wish that we had had an opportunity to stay longer!

This place was amazing! Nothing bad to say about our stay at the resort. During my original booking (using Holiday Inn Reservation line), I was trying to get my profile updated, including my name, and was also trying to book a suite with a king size bed in a bedroom separate from the sleeper sofa. They assured me I was all set, but I called the resort directly anyway. My name had NOT been updated and the room that I booked wasn't even available. The woman I spoke with at the resort upgraded my reservation without me having to ask for anything. She also went in and updated my profile for my online account. The customer service at this property is outstanding and far exceeded my expectations! Combined with the quality of the rooms, the food, and all the amenities, it's by far the best Holiday Inn I've ever stayed!

I have never been so pleased by the accommodations of an IHG property, and I have stayed at some of the finest in the world. As a platinum, I was upgraded to a king suite (full kitchen and dining), overlooking the valley/golf course. What a room! What a view! The resort gave me a great breakfast deal and treated me royally. The walk, on a nice trail, around the valley/golf course was about three miles. Great fresh air experience! I will return to this property at every opportunity. I loved it!

Let's face it: Staying a hotel can be either good or bad.
My husband and I both agree that this resort has exceeded our expectations and assurance that good quality and good service is possible.

Spent 3 nights at the Y with my 8 & 10 year old. What a fatastic time- in me and my kids words "best vacation EVER!" (Which says a lot, we travel often)
The first day we rode our bikes on the trails #smooth and no traffic- yah!# That night we went swimming in the clubhouse and had a delicious dinner at the lodge #kids eat FREE!# The second day was filled with playing outside, we played on the playground, rode bike, played horseshoes and just enjoyed the wide-open space and clean air. The afternoon we had a little snow! We swam for hours, played bingo and then had another family dinner at the restaurant. The 3rd day, we opted for the mini-golf- wow! We're not golfers, but had a great time! Only $5 per person, 18 holes- and might I say challenging. We took a quick 5 minute drive over the hill to see the lake- wow- breathtaking! We laughed, unplugged and really enjoyed this resort. If you're looking for a great couple only or family trip, I highly recommend this hidden gem. The suites and mini-suites are totally worth the few extra bucks or points. We all agree that we will be back again soon. The staff were all super friendly and will do whatever it takes to make your trip rememberable. Although we said we went to Klamath Lake Oregon for vacation, once we got to the resort, we didn't want to #and didn't# leave the resort until check-out- so we didn't even see the town of Klamath Lake #maybe next time.# The resort is about 10 minutes from town, but feels like a whole world of it's own. This is truely a remarkable place that you won't want to leave. If you are looking for time to get away from it all and relax- go here, you won't reget it.
