The reason why I selected this Hotel/Resort...was because of the "GOOD Reviews. We had the chance to experience those good review ourselves. My mother and I, had the pleasure of visiting this "Awesome & very Relaxing" location for her 76th birthday and Mother's Day Getaway....we really didn't have to leave the resort because, everything was right there. "All" the employees at this location was Helpful & Friendly and the room were very, very, clean. I had the pleasure of meeting the "Hotel Room Inspector". We returned to our room early while the maid were cleaning our room; when the "Hotel Inspector" walked in and introduced himself, he then asked us, "How was our stay & how can he make the stay better?". Then he inspected our room #making sure it was truly clean#. Wow, I was shocked and impressed!!!!!.
We had a great view of the beach from our 9th Floor balcony. Beautiful clean pools, that were "heated" and had "SOUND". Yes, that's correct "SOUND"...I jumped into the pool and started swimming under the water and I heard MUSIC....yes,......they had it tuned to a very good easy listening radio station. I also enjoyed the live music daily on the deck. They provided "free refreshments thru out the day #daily# and "Free" entertainment daily for children and adults. Very friendly bartenders and

As you exited the pool deck area, you were only a step away from the beach, and the Life Guard Station were right in front of the resort #I felt safe/secure#. This resort also provided a good and friendly Security Dept. and a trolley/cart that would take you to and from the parking lot and across the street where you could rent "Jet Ski's, Scooters, and etc. Within 4 miles of this "'RESORT" was a "Wal-Mart", RIPLEY's Believe It or Not, other museums, many local fast food restaurants, private own restaurants, and gift shops.
The only complaint I have is,"The last morning of our visit, I could hear the footsteps of the person staying in the room above us. But, that's not enough to keep me away from an Awesome and very "RELAXING" place. Because of my awesome visit, as of 5-19-2013, I have just joined the Holiday Inn Priority Rewards Club...I wish I had joined sooner. #Better late than "Never"!!!!!!#
I have already recommended this "Resort" to friends and family....and I will definitely returning soon.

My family had the pleasure of visiting this great location. We will definitely be repeat customers here. Everything was there. You are steps away from the beautiful beach. It is in a great central location with all types of restaurants around the hotel. The breakfast was great. It was worth spending a few extra bucks to eat onsite. Every single employee at this location is GREAT!!! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a location, and a young man in engineering walked me to the door and introduced me to the young lady I needed to speak with. The ladies in the kids club were great. My kids had a great time and requested to go back! They actually told me I came to early to pick them back up. My kids left the kids club with a hug!
The drinks were great!
The trolley to and from the parking lot was a great idea!
This Hotel is not the newest place on the beach. It is not super fancy. It is a casual family location. Everything was neat and clean. If a beach vacation is on your mind this is the place for you!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Panama City Beach hotel during the first weekend in May 2013 and though it was raining the staff made this stay an excellent one. Eventually once the sun came out and the rain cleared the beach access was ideal, and the bartender on the outside bar was great. Can't wait to stay here again!

We spent Christmas here and really enjoyed our first time to Panama City! Their Christmas lunch was a little lacking in flavor, but we weren't expecting a home cooked meal. The heated pool was awesome and the distance to the beach was perfect. The only bad thing was the noise the wind made coming through the hotel door at night. It was pretty hard to sleep sometimes. Good Experience!

When I first walked out to the pool area I thought I had stepped onto a tropical island, it was beautiful. Palm trees everywhere, tropical plants and live music with steel drums that just made the feel of being on an island even more so. I loved the fact that with all the palm trees you could always find a nice shady spot to just relax and get out of the sun. Everything was so clean and very well kept. Our first stay there was for 4 days (2/17/13-2/21/13) and the weather had turned off cool and we couldn't enjoy the beach & pool so we returned back for 4 more day (4/14/13-4/18/12) and the weather was beautiful. I know the poolside movie & popcorn was probably for the kids but I must say we really enjoyed it ourselves. The staff & service was outstanding, everyone was so nice. We also enjoyed the complementary coffee, tea & water available at all time in the lobby. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the view was breathtaking. We definitely will be returning back to Holiday Inn Resort Panama City Beach FL. soon!

We really enjoyed our stay. This is the second year we have stayed at this hotel, and it is just wonderful. Me and four of my friends bring our families and the kids just love it. Everything is in walking distance and the hotel staff and security makes us feel safe. Nice, clean ,spacious rooms; breakfast,lunch and dinner steps away. We will definitely be staying again.

I RECENTLY TRAVELED TO PCB FEBRUARY 22 THRU 24. MY HUSBAND AND I GO EVERY YEAR FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY. WE ALSO BRING THE KIDS BACK IN MAY AFTER SCHOOL IS OUT. WE HAVE STAYED ALL UP AND DOWN THE BEACH AND THIS STAY HAS BEEN THE BEST OF ALL. THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY MONET. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP WITH ANYTHING I NEEDED. IT RAINED THE ENTIRE TIME AND THE SHUTTLE WAS A NICE TOUCH. THE DRIVERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY ALSO. I LOVE THE FACT THAT THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO ON THE PROPERTY. I WILL BE BRINGING MY KIDS BACK IN MAY. THEY ARE SO EXCITED!

I had a 27 night stay at this location due to a job we were working in the area.
The hotel is older but it is well maintained from what I experienced.
Sure there is construction going on but it is to be expected since it is the winter time and off season.
My room on the 7th floor had an awesome view,the room was huge and appointed with the things I needed to be comfortable..ie: fulll fridge,micro,up to date telly etc..
The staff are all super great ,and Monet was extra helpful and always doing her job with a smile.
Only thing I hope they improve on would be the internet speeds,the speeds are ok but faster is always better.
