Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Einfaches Hotel Das Holiday Inn in Penag ist ein einfaches Resort. Leider keine klimatisierte Lobby und auch keine Klimatisierten Restaurants. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet aber etwas abgewohnt . Die Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist ok. Im allen ein Hotel für Urlauber, für Geschäftsreisende eher nicht. November 24, 2014

The last stay was 2 years ago and when we got out of the taxi was greeted by one of the doorman who recognised us and welcomed us back. The friendliness and customer service from all the staff is 5 star. We had a sea facing balcony room on the tower side and it was lovely. The bed was comfy and the airconditioning worked really well. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the pool needs an upgrade. Some of the tiles were missing and it isn't resort style. Also sometimes the staff did not pick up the dirty glasses and plates from around the pool although they were talking to each other in the bar area. We would really recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay here again. It is good value with a variety of room choices. November 23, 2014

I stayed for one night, check-out to move to another location and back again for one more night. They took notice and make your presence felt. People around the breakfast were ready to help and clear the culinery fast when the food is finished. November 23, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Food and Car Park The food serve is really tasteless. from the buffet breakfast and the dinner that we had, it was really frustrating. This should not be how Holiday Inn entertained their guest. I have been staying in Holiday Inn Penang more than 5 times. The last time I were in Holiday Inn Penang was in 2008 or 2010, the food are more delicious. Now even hawker stall outside the hotel tasted better. The reason that I seldom stay in Holiday Inn Penang is because the limited car park. If i am on business trip where I need to attend meeting out of the hotel, it will be a problem as when I get back to the hotel it will be a nightmare to get parking. Hope something can be done about this. Another thing is that the flooring in my room was old and faded. It somehow spoilt our holiday mood. November 19, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very Dirty and Dusty Room I have book a Beach wing Kids suite room. Room 509 . I bring my two kids 4 and 2 years old. Both of my kids has allergic rhinitis. They couldn't sleep well and has been sneezing throughout the stay.I lift up the mattress and found out that underneath the mattress is full of dust, and rubbish. It seem like it never been cleaned up before. Beside underneath the long table you can see the dust is in" 1 inch thick" The staff in charge of kids playroom is not friendly. She was shouted at my boy when he pour out the toys from the basket and ordered my boys to put back and only can play with 1 single toys each time. The dinner buffet is loudsy! November 19, 2014
