This hotel is designed specifically for families, but we Old Folk had great fun too! The pool and hot tubs were perfect, and there is easy access to the beach. We were recognized as platinum members and provided an upgrade on checkin-without asking. So we got a balcony room facing the ocean-what a treat! The front desk staff even got to know us by name. The breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired-most of the pans were empty,or cold and dried out and kind of expensive-$13 each. There was no option to order off the menu. We ate supper there once, and it was great. There is a charge for the beach chairs-$5/hour, but worth it. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by premed2013 Great Hotel! Highly recommend, especially for the price!
We spent a long weekend here while in town for a wedding. We loved lazy river pool and hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel also seemed very kid friendly with hourly activities for them to do. The restaruant was great for breakfast and lunch and for a quick dinner. If you are looking for good seafood while on the beach, this is not the place, but it was a great place for a burger or other finger foods. The rooms were spacious and clean with great views. Would stay here again and we want to come back to spend more time here.
Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This wasn't our first choice to stay, but very glad they had an available handicapped room. Our stay was a last minute decision once we found out relatives were staying at Pensacola Beach that weekend. The beds were very comfortable and view from the room was great. The staff is what we found to be the big difference between this and our last stay at another Pensacola Beach hotel. The front desk and housekeeping were excellent, especially Michelle for helping me back in my wheelchair when I fell out in the parking lot early in the morning. The only negative part of our stay was the weather, which was out of everyone’s control. We will stay here on our next trip back to Pensacola Beach.

I did not eat at the Riptides Grill because the other reviews downed it. I may try it this time tho. Jacuzzi's are to die for tho..

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tattie9419 A Holiday Inn Fan, but highly disappointed...
I have stayed at so many Holiday Inn's in the last 5 years and have never been disappointed, but our recent stay at the Pensacola Beach Holiday Inn Resort was disappointing, to say the least. First of all, let me point out that our disappointment was not due to the very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
We were in town for a 5k race and previously stayed at Hampton Inn, but I wanted to earn reward points on my Priority Club membership. I was not acknowledge as a Priority Club member at the front desk, but that wasn't a big deal to me. The big deal was that there was no coffee in the lobby area. Very small coffee cups and a mini-coffee maker in the room just wasn't enough for two people who were expecting coffee to get us going on the cold morning before a race. We couldn't even purchase it from the coffee shop because it was closed!! The front desk personnel happily gave us extra coffee and we had to make single cups. Fortunately, after we arrived at the race venue there was a Starbucks nearby and I got my coffee fix without having to brew it myself!
Even worse, I specifically asked if breakfast was available and was told yes by the reservation agent. However, when we left the hotel at 6:30 to go over to the start line for the race breakfast was not being served. When it is served there is a charge! We were told the night before that breakfast being available is based on occupancy. The person at the front desk tried to make a phone call to see if breakfast would be served on Saturday morning and she could not get anyone to answer. We stayed just down the road at Holiday Inn Express in September and there is a fabulous breakfast available - AND it's free of charge!
So, next year when we go to Pensacola for the Double Bridges Run we will definitely be BACK at the Hampton Inn!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Elizabeth74 Best Holiday Inn Experience Ever!!!
Our only negative is that we were only able to stay at this outstanding resort one night! Beautiful modern, clean and new property, comfortable rooms with gorgeous views, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and excellent food. This hotel goes the extra mile to make your stay memorable, and gives great attention to detail. The staff recognized our priority club status and gave our kids goodie bags upon arrival. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to find that kids eat free, and the kids loved the ice cream bars they were presented with after their dinners. The food was a great value, had unique menu options and was reasonably priced. The outdoor pools were a bit cold in January, but our kids still jumped in! We all enjoyed the hot tub after playing on the beach. This is by far the nicest Holiday Inn that we have ever visited, and we will definitely be back.

Our room was nice with a great view and balcony. Housekeeping was terrible however. Pool and lazy river were nice though unheated. Loved the workout room. The resort is within walking distance of many great places to eat which was a big plus. The resorts own restaurant/sportsbar was poor. Also im not sure why the resort insisted on playing loud music outside all night in the offseason with nobody out there to listen.
