Out of 5 days, even after asking for assistance, had one day of housekeeping. No fresh towels, soap, toilet paper, etc. Even when housekeeping came in, they would take dirty towels, etc, but not replace ANYTHING.

Love this location with the view of the gulf, the room is very nice and the staff is always very friendly. The food at the hotel is really good and there are really nice places to eat in walking distance. We will definitely be back!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Florida Panhandle Explore Wonderful Beach Stay
I was traveling up the Florida Panhandle for a few days. Booked this hotel along with other Holiday Inn properties during my trip. The hotel is new and very nice. Location is great. Beach is good although I was disappointed that you have to pay for chairs and umbrellas. Wonderful grounds and view of the ocean. It was wonderful to sit on my balcony and see and hear the ocean. Parking is excellent. Very accommodating staff. Nice rooms, bedding, and bathrooms. Hotel is in good location for activities. I arrived early and staff called me to say that my room was ready. I tried out the lazy river which needs a little more oomph for the rapids so the tubes will move along. The hot tubs were great. Lots of pool chairs available. Maybe they will offer more activities in busier season.
Only bummer, which I will say was a big bummer, was the morning I checked out. I was trying to enjoy as much of the morning before checking out. Tried to take advantage of paying the extra cost of having a balcony oceanfront room. So, I ordered breakfast from room service at 8am. It took an hour for delivery! I had to make two phone calls to check on the status. Honestly, I think it would have taken even longer if I had not checked on it. To make it worse, the order was wrong when it arrived. And when the person went back to correct it, the order was delivered wrong again. The young man who was running the orders to rooms seemed very overwhelmed. The hotel seems to need more staff for delivering room service or kitchen in general. Later that morning, I missed a call and got a message from Josh, the Asst GM who was notified of my report of the issue. When I returned his call, he was very nice. He apologized and explained that this is not the norm for their service. He was very concerned about my experience and offered a courtesy for my wait, but at the time I was packing and could not think of what would be an appropriate offer. A storm was making its way to the area so I was just trying to get out and start my travels before the weather got bad. I appreciate Josh's attentiveness to the issue. He stated that the systems issue was addressed. I truly don't think this will be a norm but it is worth mentioning. It's good to know that if/when there are issues the mgmt is willing to talk with guests and to be hands on with assisting to make adjustments. Thank you. This was my last stop on my Panhandle tour. I enjoyed the stay and did not let the breakfast fiasco ruin my great adventure. I would definitely like to stay here again, for a longer stay.
