Provided a great selection of rooms as our first room was not located in a great place for a couple. Even though they are still working on recovery/expansion there was plenty of food selections in the 2 restaurants and plenty of bars with wonderful bartenders and wait staff. Everything from great tropical drinks to just a beer for those that preferred. We went off site much more than I usually do at a resort like this and always felt safe walking into town to shop or night life or grab a different snack or quick bite to eat. All in all it was a very nice resort in an excellent location for a quiet getaway. I will return for a Miami Vice or maybe a Twister soon I hope!

We were disappointed that we were not advised that the main restaurant was not reopened yet. Food was good, but not exceptional. Beverage service at meals was very slow. Finding a clean table was difficult. Two pools were open and very clean. Rules for the "quiet" pool were not followed. Children and music were allowed.
Trying to get assistance was difficult, as the only staff that we could find that understood any English were the front desk and door man.
The room was a little disappointing, but the bed was very comfortable.
Guests were very loud throughout the evening and early morning hours, but we were able to cover it somewhat by running the air conditioner. We could hear what people in the next room were doing.

my stay at the Holiday inn was great from beginning to end (except for a little snag at the beginning) getting there from the airport to check in to having a blast for 2 weeks.
The bartenders were great at making the drinks that I wanted.
The servers were always on the ball when we were eating
Housekeeping was great some days and slow other days but all in all they did an awesome job at keeping my room clean.
Front desk was available when needed and the bell hops were awesome at helping for any thing

We spent two nights there in February, 2015. Our room was new, quiet, clean and spacious with ocean view. The king bed was very comfortable. The built-in vanity was only about 3.5 feet wide. There was no exhaust fan for the shower/toilet. The concrete wall on the balcony blocks the view of the property and the ocean if you sit down.
The resort has a lot of property and a long and wide stretch of sandy beach. Not swimmable due to treacherous currents The adults' only pool is the only heated pool, but the two other main pools are quite clean, nice and large.
There are only two restaurants - a buffet and a casual, beach front café with menus and table service. The food at the buffet was average and the outdoor, shade-and-sun seating area was quite nice. Staff gave good service with coffee, etc. The beach front café has a limited menu. Service was just OK and the kitchen was very slow. This resort very much needs a couple of nice, a-la-cart restaurants.
If they improve the eating choices, this can be a 4-star resort.

I have never had such outstanding customer service at a resort or hotel. Every single employee, no matter what their position, greeted us with genuine smiles and attitude. Given how soon after the hurricane 9/2014 the resort was perfect.

This was our 5th trip to this resort and we will be back for #6.
There have been several great updates since the huricane devastated this area including brand new beds, a beach front restaraunt, rooms with large terrace', and fresh paint inside and out. There was a bit of construction for the new performance stage being build but what do you expect - they had a hurricane #I dont understand the negative reviews about this ... what do you expect#? The staff was awesome especially Raul at the front desk, he always makes us feel welcome and he goes the extra mile for his guests. The pools were clean and heated, and the grounds look great.
We will definately be back.

This was our second stay at the Holiday Inn Los Cabos. Although it is not the fanciest all-inclusive, the quality for the price is great. The staff are wonderful, and the property is beautiful.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 We love this resort!!
This was our second stay at ths resort and we enjoyed it even more this year. We love the ocean view room with the hammock on the patio. The service is great! Our housekeeper Esbeydi was wonderful and made sure that our every need was met. Oscar was great at organizing activities, Aqua aerobics and yoga, and he was a wonderful MC for the live entertainment. Having a buffet restaurant and ala carte on the beach meant that you could eat at your leisure and the food selections were yummy. Plenty of fresh fruit and numerous choices. Loved the green juice and the tasty dessert selections, especially. Perfect vacation!! Thank you and see you next year.
My niece is planning a destination wedding next year and we are pushing for this resort (they were in the process of building a wedding venue on the beach, can't wait to see it).
