desde nuestra llegada al holiday inn los cabos me senti muy agusto y emocionado me gusto desde el principio practicamente todo el hotel desde la fachada ,la recepcion, sus jardines ,las picinas, los restaurantes mi habitacion los corredorres la playa , los bares practicamente todo el resot tambien los empleados todos amables y serviciales, me gusto mucho,mucho en realidad me senti como en mi casa, seguro feliz, contento!!!!

We have stayed at this property three times in the past two years. The positives:
-Exceptionally clean facility
-Multiple pools and bars
-Friendly staff that appear to be genuinely enjoying their job
-Very walkable neighborhood
-Doesn't feel like value/cheap experience
The fact that we came during the off-season changed our perceptions of the hotel a little bit. The negatives:
-1 main buffet with limited food options, 1 restaurant w/nightly themed cuisine
-Non operational ATM, make getting additional cash a slight challenge
-Limited entertainment compared to during high travel season.
In conclusion, we look at it pragmatically. What we gave up in food variety compared to previous trips is worth it because breakfast lunch is very edible and we wanted to try new restaurants in San Jose anyway. We still feel that the amount we spent in the city, supporting local business and restaurants, still made the hotel all inclusive a great value. Add that amount we spent outside of the hotel and we would still probably spend that at a higher end resort. It's clean, safe, and far more than the basics I usually associate with the Holiday Inn.

I will begin with the 'negatives' as they are so FEW. Rooms could use aesthetic updates like some pictures on the walls, new furniture, refrigerators that cool properly, and new towels. To my family, these are 'minor' changes and relatively inexpensive for the Holiday Inn to accomplish but not of great importance to us.
What is important to us is what we experienced: Excellence in service, i.e. cleanliness, good food, and gracious treatment! Perla at the front desk was our "Amazing Grace" beginning and from her it went to even better . . . EVERYONE from housekeeping to food servers to delicious food to happy bartenders to rooms so clean you could eat off the floors to sparkling pools to grounds so well kept you never saw ANY trash; and finally, secure and safe surroundings. We felt very pampered and Blessed to have experienced such a wonderful vacation. NOT ONE person on the entire property or in any area we shopped or toured showed anything but happy faces and sweet conversation!
I rate this as one of the most 'perfect' vacations ever and hope I have the honor of returning and enjoying this beautiful area again!

My wife and I feel like this hotel is run down. That none of the employees care. We did not see any one go above there normal routine. It was so sad to see that trash would stay for hours before being picked up. Our room would never get cold enough.
The beach and ocean were beautiful. We had a grand time just sitting by the ocean. We also meet several wonderful guest that made our trip that more special.
I just wish the staff had some enthusiasm.
Where was the Bacon? Did I have to ask?

My family of four (wife and two boys ages 11 and 9) just returned from our 10 night vacation at Los Cabos Holiday Inn Resort. We had a wonderful time and were very impressed with the overall quality of the resort and staff for the duration of our stay.
The entire staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The entertainment staff (Carlos, Oscar, and Karen) were amazing. Carlos was incredible with my boys and my youngest even cried when we left because he "missed Carlos."
The resort was clean and well kept. The food was very good.
On our last three days an elementary school from a nearby town came to the resort. There were lot's of kids that took over the resort, particularly the pool areas. It was very loud and difficult to get a drink at the bar. Many of the kids were out of control and rude, with no apparent chaperones near by. Used drink cups were tossed into the pool, kids took over the water volleyball and did not allow my two boys to participate. At one time vomit was noticed in the swimming pool. Most of the adult resort goers could not handle this chaos and moved to the "quiet adult pool." We did not have this option due to the age of our boys. This was a disappointment and bad way to end an otherwise wonderful trip.
In the future, I would like to see Holiday Inn limit the elementary school trip to the use of only one of the swimming pools, leaving the other activity pool available for tourists.
All in all we had a great time and I would definitely return #after checking the calendar for the school trip dates......#

La calidad de los alimentos es buena, sin embargo, durante nuestra estadía ningún mesero, bartender, nos trató bien, es lamentable descubrir que una cadena como Holiday Inn vaya en decadencia.

Would not stay at this resort again because of the food. Not the amount, quality, variety, etc. that I would expect from an all-inclusive resort. Maybe a little bit of "you get what you pay for." My friend chose this resort. I won't choose it again for when I return to Cabo next summer.

Upon arriving, our disappointments began when we were not given the rooms we had reserved 8 months prior. Instead of the Oceanfront Lanai's we reserved, we were given poolside Lanais. We had bragged to two other couples about how great this resort was, so they too, were disappointed. The food this year was certainly lacking variety. The Mexican restaurant was less than good. The patio restaurant was better, however nothing to come back for. Desserts this year were tasteless. The 'Captain' was unwilling to accommodate us with a table to seat nine, so the only time we were able to eat together was at the Fiesta and the Italian night. The pool bar is where we hung out most, and Luis is the greatest; however, closing at 6 pm??? Not even close to dark. The Cantina Bar would not allow us to bring in chips and salsa, no appetizers in a bar??? The rooms were adequate, the fridge and water was a definite plus. But the beds were so hard it was difficult to get comfortable. And the bathrooms were so narrow it made it difficult to maneuver,.The outside handle to the patio door was missing so at times it was difficult to open the sliding door from the outside.
It is obvious there have been cutbacks in staff and amenities, the landscaping needs attention, the poolside furniture was never hosed off or cleaned of the bird pooh, and the pool nearest our rooms is in need of repair. Tiles missing, etc. Sad. We enjoy San Jose del Cabo much more than Cabo, but may have to try another hotel next year.

We stayed at the resort in early June and had a very relaxing vacation. Many of the staff have worked at the hotel for many years and it is very nice to see the same friendly faces. David was very helpful at check-in. Enrique made sure that we had everything we needed in our room. The room was made up very well each day. Gonzalo and Laura made our meals very enjoyable. Elva, Jonathan, Liney, Paulina, and Alma served us drinks and snacks with friendly smiles. It is nice when they remember what you like to eat and drink! The only difficulty we had was the internet not always working. The entire staff is hard working and made our stay memorable. We thank everyone for giving us a wonderful relaxing vacation!

Las toallas es hora de cambiarlas. Viejas y deshilachadas.
Una renovación al complejo tampoco le vendría mal.
No cojáis toallas de la piscina, son reutilizadas por todos los clientes día tras día.
El buffet, normal, nada del otro mundo.
Limpio y personal muy amable. Es lo que mas destaco.
Para un par de días de descanso, vale, no para mas.

The bad : Its all inclusive but they still charge us when I order beers for the room. Our safe was broken and it took them 2 days to put a new safe in our room. On the 3rd day we wanted to upgrade to a lanai room anf they told us it was going to be ready at 5 pm so we call at 6:30 and they told us the room should be ready at about 8 pm. So we cancel the upgrade cause it was going to be too late to enjoy.
The good: The staff was Great . The lady in the front desk her name I think was Karla was great everytime. The bartenders on all locations were Great . They made us feel every comfortable. The food for all the bad reviews were wrong. Food was great everytime and the waiters always were their to help us with refills . The hotel was always clean outside by the pool , gardens. everywhere. It always felt save . Security was always around but never in your way always in the edge of the hotel.

Location was good, able to catch public bus to get to San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. Food was good, service was good. If I had to find something to complain about it would be the firm mattresses, I like pillowtops! Grounds are kept very nice.

La comida es de excelente calidad, la variedad de los platillos es la ideal y la calidad es muy buena.
El servicio también es muy bueno, siempre están pensando en el huésped.
Nunca pude conectarme a internet, la red inalámbrica es pésima y tenía que mandar unos mails de trabajo y no pude.
Por otro lado, al llegar te abordan unas personas para ofrecerte tiempos compartidos y actividades al 2x1, yo me estaba muriendo de hambre y la señorita no me dejaba ir. Eso de verdad no es grato.

Revisar que al dar una habitacion esta este bien

Solo sería perfecto el alojamiento, si no hostigaran tanto a los clientes al entrar al hotel con su venta de tiempo compartido o el equivalente a promociones que manejan los hoteles, creo que con el primer NO debería de entender ese personal que lo que uno busca es descansar y no pensar en ir a firmar algún contrato con el hotel.

Wonderful staff. Extremely clean throughout the resort. I also enjoyed the beach party. I will definitely book again next year which will make it my third visit. I have recommended this resort to boss/friends and they also enjoyed their stay.
