It was a beautiful place, but we were disappointed in the room they assigned us. There were approximately 3-5 rooms w/o balcony or patio. and that is the one they assigned us. i feel we were forced to upgrade along with our friends. The staff was wonderful, the activities by the pool were enjoyable

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos is right on the beach in Cabo San Jose. The beach is very wide and long there and the sound of the surf can be heard from the resort. The beach is great for walking and horseback riding but the ocean was off limits for swimming due to size of the surf. The resort has several pools that are nice for swimming. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Rooms are pleasant with nice mattresses. Pillows to hard for my taste. Food is good but not fine dining. Nature reserve next door is nice to walk to. Can also walk to artisan market and to the art/shopping district of old Cabo San Jose. Resort is only about a 15 minute ride from the airport. It was a good value for the money spent and I would be happy to visit again.

stayed here many times in the past. now have mobility issues and asked in advance and was told ground floor room would be reserved. arrived and no elevators and given room on 3. Finally got that straightened out. Staff is great, but food has really gone down and is now almost inedible with almost all served from buffets and hot tables and NEVER HOT. Sent most back at least once, and ti returned with cold food and warm plate. Spoke to EOperaza and she said there was a temperature problem on the buffet but at the price charged that was their problem not mine.. Meethinks I will never return again and I am truly sorry and some of the staff are so friendly and almost family like. Hope they dont loose their jobs when people stop coming.. Did note that many fewer Americans and more Mexican guests, and was delighted that the economy permits them to pay the high prices, but wish it was higher quality food offered.
