Featured Liverpool Hotels

As the birthplace of a number of iconic bands -- Gerry & the Pacemakers, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and, oh yeah, The Beatles -- Liverpool has long been recognized as one of the world's top musical incubators. However, its status as a port city has also fashioned Liverpool into a diverse destination, imbuing the city with a host of intriguing cultural, artistic and dining options. Stay at one of our distinctive boutique hotels in Liverpool and you'll be ideally placed to explore all this vibrant city has to offer.

In terms of British cities, Liverpool didn't become a major player until the 19th century, when transatlantic trade became a main economic driver. Not surprisingly given its role as a crossroads for innovations and ideas as well as goods, the city has given rise to a number of important firsts, and even pioneered the world's first skyscraper. Explore this fascinating history and more at the World Museum Liverpool, the Merseyside Maritime Museum, and the International Slavery Museum. Or, for a review of more contemporary pop culture history, a tour of the Beatles Story or a modern art or dance performance at the Bluecoat are just the place to head.

While you're on your art kick, the Victoria Gallery and Museum, Sudley House, the Static Gallery, the Tate Liverpool and the Wolstenhome Creative Space are sure to satisfy, boasting fine collections of historical, folk and contemporary art. Alternatively, taking a stroll past the Royal Liver Building, St. George's Hall, the Liverpool Cathedral, Princes Road Synagogue will provide an excellent look at the city's varied architectural history, from Greco-Roman facades to Gothic and Moorish building styles.

Fans of Downton Abbey will enjoy getting their outdoor fix at Croxteth Hall and Country Park, a once vast estate with ample grounds and historical buildings to explore. And of course, for sports aficionados, catching an Everton or Liverpool football (soccer) game is a must, as they are two of the most respected, popular and storied teams in the sport today.

While in town, you won't want to miss the opportunity sneak in a little retail therapy. Situated in the heart of London, the Metquarter provides all of the high end brands you could wish for, while the Bluecoat will provide a little more quirk for your retail adventures. The relatively new Liverpool One is also not to be missed, with three levels of shopping and entertainment.

As the lights go down, choose from diverse cuisine offerings in the particularly bopping City Centre, Lark Lane and Seel Street areas. Pizza, noodle spots, and eclectic Asian offerings all abound, as do a surplus of classic pubs serving fish and chips. Once you've dined, choose from theaters, comedy venues, and music clubs for a lively evening. The Liverpool Empire Theatre and Philharmonic Orchestra Hall are always bound to have something good on, but you're much more likely to discover the next John Lennon in a tucked away club.

Liverpool is well connected to the rest of the UK via boat, train, bus and air. Guarantee a friendly greeting once you debark by booking into a boutique hotel in Liverpool. With world class amenities, well-appointed rooms and a staff that aims to please, you'll have the trip of a lifetime when you book today.

Excellent Staff and service with lots of smiles.
By Chapman's
From the moment we stepped in the door we were greeted with a smile and great service that continued until the time we checked out. Debbie the receptionist should receive a highly commended for her [More] service and the way she made us feel that we were home, even when it was our first visit. Her smile and attention to detail are a plus, plus, plus for this hotel. The staff in the Restaurant also deserve mention as they too went above and beyond. The staff as a whole made our stay memorable. [Less]
An enjoyable break

Another great stay
By c657ljr
Still my favourite hotel in Liverpool and another enjoyable stay including really effective air conditioning in my room when it was 31 degrees outside! Only slight grumble this stay is that [More] breakfast tables weren't being cleared and reset efficiently on both mornings so it was a struggle to find a clean one to use. This isn't the norm here in my experience so hopefully it was just down to a temporary staffing issue. [Less]
Comfortable beds, great location
By Occasionaltraveller72
Lovely hotel, spacious room and comfortable beds. Great location for access to the sights of Liverpool, including Liverpool One shops, bars and restaurants and within about a 5/10min walk to [More] Albert Dock area. [Less]
Cats

Stayed overnight as went to see Cats at Liverpool Empire. Hotel has a great central location. The car park is 5 mins away. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. [Less]
Excellent, interesting, convenient location.
By Roman Holiday
Very impressive reception for a budget hotel, with efficient, friendly staff. Room quite small but we did have sofa bed made up. Not much room for clothes, so obviously designed as a 'stopover' [More] hotel. As such, good enough. Only one small issue: Bar staff willing and eager to help but not trained particularly well - a management issue! Breakfast very good. [Less]
