Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by best hotel in liverpool just back from a two night stay @ indiglo liverpool ... where do I start ... top class hotel staff &services will defo be staying there again when we visit in December. close to albert Dock the centre pubs, shops, resturants (and car park!!!!) 10 out of 10 double gold star for luxury , friendly helpful staff, and location ... could not find fault with anything .... if fact I wanna live there .... lol 5. Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Brilliant destination - Hen Party I stayed at Hotel Indigo for my Hen party along with 16 friends last weekend. We had an amazing time and the hotel was in a good central location. We stayed for two nights and has breakfast/meal which was included within our package - good value for money! We also booked in for a cocktail masterclass in the hotel bar which everyone really enjoyed, the candyfloss cocktail was a hit! Overall a unique hotel with good service and in the right place. I would recommend staying here and would definitely stay again when visiting Liverpool :) 4. August 2013
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Excellent hotel! Stayed on 2 occasions with my young son and everything was wonderful. The room design and decor is fabulous, the staff are so friendly and helfpul (as was everyone we came across in the area), the area around the hotel is up market and has lots to offer, the hotel location's also ideal for Albert Dock and Mersey Ferries. There's also a bus stop close by on Sir Thomas Street where you can catch either the 432 or 433 service to New Brighton Beach, which takes around 35 mins to this lovely seaside resort. It's amazing you can be in the heart of Liverpool's business district and then get off this bus in such a short space of time having gone under the Mersey through the tunnel, and be on the beach! I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about this hotel, it's staff or their service. It was lovely and we were sad to leave. The complimentary snack bar in the room was a lovely welcome, so handy too for keeping things cool for a short while of our own, partic if anyone has medicines that require keeping cool (but not a specific temp). We would stay here again in Liverpool every time, the rooms are great, the location is amazing. If you don't fancy the restaurant on site, there's loads within walking distance. The restaurant's the only thing we didn't try but we would on another stay. Thank you to everyone for providing us with such a lovely place to stay and a lovely experience. 3. August 2013
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Modern, colourful and very friendly Hotel We had a really nice stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for you. The Hotel is in a good position for getting to major areas. We ate in the Marco Pierre White restaurant, which was buzzing and the food was good. (watch for the service charge on your bill if you charge things to your room! You can get it taken off if you mention it to reception.) We had a cream tea which was lovely. The staff are very attentive. Would have been nice to have a better view from the bedroom window but usually when you get offers you tend to get back stair rooms!! Overall a pleasant experience and would go back. 2. August 2013

Booked the room over the phone asked for a quiet room, , however on checking in discovered our room had an adjoining door! with very noisy nieghbours :-( Had to call down to reception as was unable to sleep. The hotel otherwise was fine, just a shame the staff don't listen to their customers. 1. August 2013

In very hot weather the room was very well air conditioned and it was spotlessly clean.There was good choice at breakfast. An additional bonus was the very good lift and easy car parking nearby! Will return to Indigo and recommend to friends. 1. August 2013

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Lost and found We had an initial difficulty finding the hotel in Chapel Street. I followed road marking taking me towards the Liver building. I then did not realise to follow the one way system.to return across the road I had come in on. The disappointment of the time taken to find the Hotel Indigo was soon forgotten by the pleasant nature of the young lady who booked us in at reception and the colourful entrance which continued into the elevator. Opening the door we were pleased by the overall cleanliness, modern bright room. Excellent shower room. Comfortable bed. We walked around the local and felt quite comfortable. We spoke to a few locals and agreed that there was a camaraderie between the Liverpudlians and Glaswegians. We had an excellent and pleasant stay in Hotel Indigo and would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a stay in Liverpool and near enough to site seeing ventures 29. Juli 2013

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Excellent Hotel We had a really nice stay at the Indigo. Well laid out, boutique hotel, with an open, bright reception area. The only downside was the size of the room, which was just a bit on the small side. Apart from that the room was clean, tidy and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed! Also, the bar price's are a bit on the pricey side, but loads of decent restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. Many sights, including the river Mersey, Albert Docks, museums and shops, all within walking distance as well. I would definitely stay at the Indigo again! 24. Juli 2013
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Restaurant a let down...pokey room Heard great things about this hotel as my wife had stayed here previously. She had been particularly impressed with the interesting design concept based around the cotton importation through Liverpool, the spacious room and well stocked and inclusive minibar, with enough snacks and refreshments for two. Unfortunately when returning with my wife, we were allocated a somewhat pokey room, with a substantially less well stocked minibar, seemingly an allocation for one person. The room had barely enough room for one person to walk around between the bed and wardrobe, and at the end of the bed. On the plus side the air conditioning was welcome as it was summer. We were staying on a dine and stay basis with a two course evening meal included. As the restaurant is billed as a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, I would expect nothing less than an excellent meal, but this was not to be. Ironically the steak was the one thing which spoilt the meal. I have not seen such a poor cut of meat in a long time, full of fat, gristle and with a rubbery texture. It really was not fit for a dog. The decor in the restaurant is also somewhat odd, very clinical and cold, with dim lighting which makes the tiny printing on some of the menus almost imperceptible. Staff however were courteous although noone came to ask if the meal was ok and I had to draw their attention. Breakfast was an entirely different experience. Food was excellent and plentiful, and the canteen appearence of the restaurant now seemed more fitting with a breakfast sitting. 20. Juli 2013
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Another fantastic stay Stayed at the Hotel Indigo for the third time last weekend and yet again had a fantastic stay. Arrived early only to find our room was ready and waiting so we quickly unpacked and took ourselves off for some retail therapy. Returned just in time to freshen up for our evening in the Marco Pierre White restaurant. The food is absolutely beautiful with outstanding service and lovely wine, which we maybe had too much of!! We were lucky enough to have the glorious weather so chose to sit outside and drink the bar dry of Strawberry Daiquiris!! All in all a fantastic weekend was had and will most definately be returning. Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Good but...... The hotel itself was great, the bed unbelievably comfortable, the restaurant was good and the staff really nice. There was a large car park right opposite which only charged £5 to park overnight until 10am! However, I shall not be staying here again until something is done about the bedroom doors ability to close without banging and echoing right around the corridors. Unfortunately I had to phone to reception at 1.30am to stop some other guests going from room to room and allowing doors to bang. Give them their due they did sort it but I had a dreadful night's sleep :( 16. Juli 2013

Comfortable beds and smart rooms with free mini bar (non alcoholic) and aircon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they created a good atmosphere during our stay. The location is good for the main town centre and for conference centres.The only down side to this hotel is that it has no car park but there is an NCP just across the road but a pain to keep having to buying tickets. We would definately recommend and if we find ourselves in Liverpool again, we would be more than happy to stay again 14. Juli 2013
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Odd shaped room! 619. The room was a bit small, compared to a Holiday Inn Express of similar price, especially being part of the same IHG chain. The food however, was fantastic, breakfast being extremely good value. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. I would use this hotel again. Evening meals were excellent, but a little overpriced, although, I suppose, it's a city centre hotel after all! Nice to get the priority club points too. 10. Juli 2013

Apart from that one hitch the rest of our stay was very enjoyable. I would also highly recommend trying the restaurant. 3. Juli 2013

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by A wonderfull stay We booked a 2 night stay at Hotel Indigo, Liverpool as a treat for our 15th Wedding Anniversery and I can honestly say it was the best hotel we'v ever stayed at. We booked an executive double room and it was lovely, both the room and the bathroom were spotless and the bed was very comfortable with the television in a perfect position and there was plenty storage space for our things. All the staff were helpful and friendly we wanted for nothing. Thanks to all at the hotel indigo for making our Wedding Anniversery wonderful. We will definatly be returning in the future 29. This hotel was not only clean with interesting and beautiful décor but a great location (a very short walk to the Albert Dock and the city centre). The bed was comfy and the bathroom was so posh!! The free mini bar was a nice touch with a good selection and the staff was incredible. The lady at reception was so kind and helpful to me personally. I would stay at this hotel again in a second and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Liverpool. It is well worth the price and honestly the nicest hotel I've stayed in. Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by It's the little things! My daughter stayed at this hotel the week before we did and recommended it. It was everything you need in a hotel: great price, comfortable beds and, considering there were several 'stag' do's, surprisingly quiet. The staff were commendable and the location was central but slightly outside the main bar areas making it easy to walk into the town #5 mins#, but keeping the hotel free from late night revellers. What I was really impressed with were the generous toiletries, free mini bar, free wi-fi #big hotels, please take note# and the fact that there was an iron and ironing board in the room. After staying in a noted London Hotel the previous week and finding their breakfast quite poor, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the fact that it was hot and tasty - all in all, agood experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending it. well done Hotel Indigo! 21. Helpful information was given and in the restaurant a staff recommendation concerning a particular dish was spot on. The room was most comfortable both for working and sleeping with the complimentary snacks very helpful for keeping you going. Not too sure about some of the bright colours but that is personal taste, of course. I would hope to stay again at this hotel should the need arise. 18. Juni 2013
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Very well situated The hotel was in an area that suited us just fine as we don't like to be in the thick of things ,I am a disabled wheelchair user ,and at the front of the hotel there is two disabled parking bays with no time limit providing you display your badge ,the hotel is very comfortable and has every amenity you could want ,the rooms are tastefully decorated there is a flat screen tv with facility to use your personal tablet on providing you bring your own connector leads ,there is a free mini bar that gets replenished daily ,the rooms have air conditioning and the bathrooms are up to date ,the only gripe I have is there was a lot of dust on top of the wardrobe which came down when I retrieved my rucksack of the top ,but "hey nobody is perfect" On the whole an enjoyable stay, 10 mins from the centre of Liverpool walking,and the Albert dock is also only 10mins away ,the hotel has also got a MarcoPierre whites restaurant ,which has a reasonable menu and choice of 3courses for £19.95 for example the staff were all very attentive, friendly and professional . 16.
