This is the 2nd year in a row I have stayed at the Indigo. Great location, service, etc. We have chosen the Indigo both times my buddies and I golfed Scottsdale. Everyone of them has had great things to say about the hotel. Highly recommend it.

There are many positives about this hotel. The customer service is exceptional, the interior and exterior of the hotel is fun and inviting, the restaurant offers very good food, amenities such as a fire pit, an outside deck, a pool, an exercise room, excellent internet, use of a business computer and printer, price, and the location to downtown Scottsdale are all pluses. I don't like to pay an additional cost for parking (as was the case for this hotel), but the price for parking was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.
I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel during the week. The weekends can be challenging, as far as the quality of sleep is concerned-unless a guest plans to stay out all night at the nearby clubs. The hotel has tried to reduce this noise problem by offering "sound spa machines" and by installing a white noise button on the walls of guest rooms. This does help, but the noise is still loud.
It seems that the county or the city could remedy this noise problem by passing some ordinances that would reduce the length of time bands can play and/or putting steep fines in place if the level of amplification is exceeded above a certain reasonable point. Other hotels and condos in the area are affected.
We just have a few minor recommendations for this hotel, as far as rooms are concerned: install a fan in the bathrooms, install a refrigerator in the rooms, and put a dimmer switch in the bathroom (for those persons who do not prefer such bright light when bathing).
In closing, we were most impressed with the customer service. Poor customer service is an immediate turn off, just as excellent customer service sets a positive tone for a visit. These employees have been trained well; we would return to this hotel because of the staff.

My husband and I stayed here while we were in town for a family wedding. I wish we had known the hotel was located near a number of nightclubs that played extremely loud music until the wee hours on the weekend. This must be a common complaint, as there were individually packaged earplugs on the nightstand! Most hotels include free parking, so I was surprised at the $9/day charge. Also, free breakfast is often included by competitors, so that would have been a nice addition. While the surrounding area was mainly under construction and not particularly attractive, there was a good selection of restaurants and some shopping within walking distance. The room itself was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. We did not use the restaurant or other facilities there.
