Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel but housekeeping problems Beautiful penthouse suites with amazing views and friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant is also pretty good and reasonably-priced. Main problem was housekeeping: rugs weren't well-vacuumed, glasses were grimy and covered with fingerprints. Bathroom towel had toothpaste smeared on it. March 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff is great - really friendly I have stayed at this Hotel Indigo three separate times in the past few months and have always had a good experience. The staff is really interested in making my stay a good one every time I am there - especially the staff in the restaurant. March 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Getaway Enjoyed the stay due to location, comfort and price. Will come again because of the friendly and helpful staff. March 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, decor and staff First time at an Indigo property. Wish there were more. March 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Weekend Clean, close walk to downtown, great staff. Would come back and stay if the price was right. March 12, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful but baffling. I was really looking forward to staying here, and the room was visually appealing. However, I could never get warm in the room. The heating thermostat was confusing and it just kept blowing cold air. Floor was cold with carpeting. Lighting was low level and spaced oddly around the room. Finally, the beautiful wide shower was great but somehow I realized that either the hot shower massage or the scented soap gave me a slight facial burn , similar to a wind burn. Odd. The food was great and service equally so. A bit short on parking spaces, especially with a full house in town for the basketball tournament. For me, I would not stay here again even though it was very convenient to my temporary work schedule downtown. Really doesn't fit my personal preferences. March 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super clean and dog friendly! My husband and I went to Asheville with our dog and this was a perfect choice! The hotel staff was amazing. They raised the bar when it comes to hospitality. We will most definitely be back! March 10, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay. Excellent location in downtown Asheville. Great room, design and decor. Very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Absolutely wonderful, delicious breakfast in the cafe. Would definitely stay at the Hotel next trip to Asheville. March 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Stay My husband and I stayed Saturday thru Monday. The hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and easy walking distance to downtown Asheville and The Biltmore was a brief 5 minute drive! I recommend their breakfast if you are looking for a quick bite. Overall very satisfied!! February 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by exceptional everything! We loved the view, the space, the accommodations.... basically we loved everything! The walking distance to downtown was very minimal so everything was close. Will definitely stay there again! February 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by WATER PRESSURE WAS THE WORST The water pressure from the shower was terrible. I have never experienced such poor water pressure and for this reason would never stay in the hotel again. My wife was unable to wash her hair because there would have been no way to rinse it. I would guess that the owner is too cheap to replace the old water supply pipes, so it makes me wonder the condition of the balance of the interstructure. February 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay in Asheville We had a great stay over the weekend at the Hotel Indigo in Asheville. Rich at the front desk was great setting us up and giving us recommendations for the weekend. The room and view are fantastic and you can't beat the location in Asheville. It is walking distance to everything cool you would want to do. The breakfast was very good, try the french toast or breakfast wrap - the ingredients are locally sourced. Joey took care of each day in the restaurant. Definitely recommend visiting and staying there! February 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing weekend Arrived on Friday. Staff was very friendly from the time we arrived until we left Sunday morning. Staff answered al our questions about downtown and where to go. Would stay again and recommend to friends. February 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great sisters last minute get away We made a last minute reservation for a sisters trip to Asheville. The staff was fantastic. From the first warm welcome to last good bye they were cheerful and helpful. The concierge was so helpful in making recommendations for places to eat that were vegetarian and helped us find a last minute spa appointment. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The location was right off the highway and even though the view of the highway was not great, the hotel was very convenient to downtown activities. A great experience. February 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Idea Cool and refreshing! Yay for Asheville and Hotel Indigo! February 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful modern hotel with excellent service!! Hotel Indigo is one of the best hotels we've had the pleasure of staying in. We stayed in the standard king, which was very spacious and comfortable. The service at the hotel was incredible! Everyone greeted you with a smile and were willing to do anythjng to make our stay better. They even kept our leftovers from an outside restuarant in the fridge for us. The concierge was very helpful in setting up dinner reservations, recommending a spa, and tips about going to visit the Biltmore Estate. There was always a refreshing drink and a snack in the lobby for a nice treat. We ordered room service one evening, and the food was delicious! Grass-fed local beef, creative menu items and fairly reasonable for hotel food. The gentleman taking orders was extremely helpful and polite as well. One big plus was that Hotel Indigo is located very close all of the shopping, restaurants, bars, and fun things to do in downtown Asheville. We would have walked everywhere if it hadn't been so bitterly cold! Thanks for a wonderful stay! February 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel! Our stay at the Hotel Indigo in Asheville, NC was very nice. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. The room was very nicely appointed and comfortable. The room was quiet too, which is a plus when staying in an unfamiliar place and are trying to get comfortable and get a good nights sleep you don't want to hear people in the hall, doors slamming or noisy heating/A/C systems. The only thing I felt the room was missing was a small fridge & possibly a microwave. Those would be a nice addition. February 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful birthday getaway! My husband booked this hotel room for my birthday, so we could walk to downtown Asheville's wonderful entertainment offerings. Our stay was perfect! The location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, brew pubs, and the Fine Arts Cinema. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was bigger than I had expected and very clean. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of local grown/organic dishes. The menu was different than what was online, but nonetheless, there were plenty of items to choose. I had the BLT with Salmon and side salad, and it was delicious! The only criticism about the restaurant area, is the size. The are just a few tables, and it felt like a diner, but with the footprint of the hotel being small, I guess that's to be expected. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others coming to visit the Asheville, NC area! February 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Luxury Our room was gorgeous, spacious, and with a great view. Our bathroom was one of the nicest Ive ever seen!!! The staff was not only friendly but also helpful. We traveled with a 2 and a 3 year old and the staff gave us some ideas to keep them entertained. Would definitely stay again. February 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay I recently visited Asheville with my wife and dog for a weekend getaway. Upon check-in, the Hotel Rep informed me she was upgrading our room. I thought this was a typical hotel ploy, as I had never seen the inside of a room at the hotel and would be none-the-wiser to an "upgrade". Much to my surprise, however, we were upgraded to a Penthouse suite for no additional charge. This was a tremendous surprise to both my wife and I. It was great, we had a lovely view of downtown Asheville and the surrounding mountains, a fireplace to keep us cozy at night, and a balcony to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. I could not be more impressed with the staff and the hotel overall. It was such an excellent stay, we will be staying here whenever we visit Asheville again. February 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed with view Impressed with my large picture window on the 9th floor. Room was spacious, well appointed with comfortable bed. One drawback, hard surfaced floor during cold weather made for cold feet. A small area rug near bed would make for happier feet. February 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My favorite hotel I stay in hotels about 300+ nights per year and this is one of my favorite spots. Clean & refreshing rooms and lobby, great staff, perfect location for walking to downtown restaurants. Food is good and drinks are great. February 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Traveling on business really doesnt seem like a drag when you stay here... Stayed here with my little 4 lb yorkie and the staff and front desk treated us like family and my dog Tootie loved all the attention! Dog Friendly rooms were spotless. The rooms were very tastefully decorated in a modern them and the views of the city were beautifull... I wish they had one of these in every city I travel to. Cant say enough good things about the staff and the hotel... January 31, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good service, atmosphere and location Overall a good experience except no hot water in the morning made it not a better experience. January 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place You will not be disappointed!!! Love this place. Downtown is the place to be .... January 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT time beautiful hotel, the room design was very warm and trendy. really enjoyed, couldn't wait to get back to the room after my visit obligation January 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Room and View My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The view of the mountains was the best we've had in Asheville. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great! Thank you. January 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could have been better Pros: Great location and staff Nicely designed rooms with lots of glass Great beds Cons Filthy Carpets in both rooms of the suite ( unacceptable) One TV did not work Cost This could have been a terrific stay, but only deserves an average. Could have at least provided robes and very skimpy with the toiletries. January 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding service and beautiful room. I wish I could remember everyone's name who made my stay a special one. The guy in training who checked me in was awesome and gave me an upgrade without me asking for one. Both bartenders were great and fun to talk to. One night I got to my room and was surprised with a bottle of champagne, but after reading the note realized it was not meant for me so I called the front desk. A few minutes after they came to get it there was another knock on the door. The valet guy showed up with a small bottle of bubbly and the most delicious chocolate dessert. Needless to say that made my stay really special. The staff here go above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel welcomed. The room was spotless and beautiful with a great view of the city. I would highly recommend Hotel Indigo and will stay there again on my future visits to Asheville. January 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Greatest Nights Rest Ever In a Hotel! The night was the coldest night in over 40 years, and I was very warm, hot coffee, and very nice shower. Excellent breakfast and price very reasonable. Had valet parking, a warm car the next morning, great valet service. January 11, 2014
