Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location in downtown Athens I stayed here for a conference at the Classic Center. It was very easy and convenient to get to and from the conference. October 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Trendy and refreshing I was surprised to find such a gem of hotel in Athens; came to visit my son who is attending college in town and my daughter in law. Will definitely be staying at Indigo on my future visits. October 27, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient, good value Nice value for the money. Nice condition, very fast elevators. October 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Surprisingly good A nice, neat hotel just a short walk from downtown Athens. Aside from the fact that the rooms have no thermostats and the bar drinks are a bit pricy, the place is very enjoyable. October 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Why stay here? My room was charged a $22 beer bill. I do not drink beer and I never drink in any hotel. I also never charge any incidentals to my room bill. I always use my personal credit cards. I also checked in late and it took a VERY long time to check in and I was second in line. It was some serious technical issues. Imagine if the computer system was completely down: no bills, no check in, no check out, ... My room had a toilet that was running water constantly and making a loud noise. I called and the front desk receptionists came. She tried her best and even made some phone alls, but she was not a plumber. Of course they did NOT offer me another room. I thought you were an "eco" friendly hotel, but this was not obvious about the amount fo water waited on this running toilet.. Is there any chance that I can get my $22 back for the beer(s) that I did not have? October 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place!! This is a beautiful place with a modern, energy conservative appeal. Very good exercise, bar and dining area is provided. Great location, can walk two blocks and practically be in downtown area around all the stores and restaurants. Quiet hotel, just a little disappointed with the mattress and no mini fridge in the room was the only reason it didn't get all 5's. Will stay there in the future if room is available. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding Stay The staff was so accommodating from day one of my general inquiry about staying here for my wedding in Athens. Even though they were completely sold out the weekended I needed rooms, they were able to work with me as they had cancellations to accommodate us, even with early check-ins and late check-outs. Great communication before and during our stay! The hotel was not built while I was in school at UGA, but I had heard great things and saw beautiful wedding pictures taken there. It was even better in person! The whole vibe was really hip and artsy, and the rooms had the tallest ceilings I've ever seen in a hotel. One of a kind hotel, for sure. Made for gorgeous wedding photos. The king beds and Jittery Joe's coffee on the penthouse level were heavenly! The only cons were that they didn't serve lunch in the restaurant downstairs, which would have been really convenient. Also, the key card to use the lights in the bathroom was just odd and confusing. I appreciate the green effort, but if you're going to have a system to save electricity, make it control all the lights in the entire room. Overall, best hotel in Athens and one of the best I've ever stayed at. October 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, Friendly, High Quality in all respects This was positively the best domestic hotel experience I have had on my frequent business travel. It was very similar to some of the excellent experiences I have had traveling in Europe. Maybe that is why I liked it so much. The service was exceptional, never was there an unfriendly or annoyed response to any inquiry or comment. The people are really great here at this hotel. I especially enjoyed the obvious family-like atmosphere projected by the hotel staff - they are all clearly friends with each other and inclusive of the guests. This was especially helpful to me, traveling on business alone far from my family for about 2 weeks. Only issue I had was a lady in high heels walking around on the hardwood floors in the room above mine late at night / early morning. clack clack clack kept me up a couple times, LOL.
