I thought my bed at home was nice, but the bed and linens at Hotel Indigo were the best ever. I awoke feeling relaxed and pain free (I often wake up a bit stiff in the joints).
My sleep was undisturbed, by noise or light. It was truly one of the best hotel stays ever, and I've traveled a lot.
One negative - the breakfast was disappointing. Not very tasty. So, eat out.

My daughter has been a student at the University of Georgia for 4 years, and I have been a happy lodger at the Hotel Indigo every time I have visited her. I have stayed in a variety of rooms, and have been very content, from the comfortable beds to the interesting, spacious, and clean architecture... and, of course, to the wonderful service. I would like to commend the staff at the front desk - especially the wonderful night manager, who often cheerfully greeted me by name during the early morning hours after I returned from a night with my daughter's friends. The cleaning staff was also helpful, kind and accommodating - with a special mention of a particularly sweet and attractive black lady with very short, white hair! :) I am so sad that my regular trips to Athens and the Indigo have come to an end, but my beautiful memories of my daughter's 4 years at UGA will certainly include my happy stays at your wonderful hotel! Thank you!

Our first room was dirty and no hot water. We were upgraded and moved to a suite. The suite was a nice size but very dirty. The two area rugs were full of stains (the hotel is pet friendly) and powder deodorant to try to cover the smell. The wood floors were filthy. The towel we used to "mop up" was black with filth and pet hair. We reported all of this to the front desk as well as the fact that we rolled up the rugs and placed them in the hall to be picked up; the rugs remained in the hall for two days and the floors were not cleaned as promised by front desk.

We were disappointed to find out when we checked out that we were charged for parking. We felt that lodging should include a place to park your car.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Indigo Athens, GA. The hotel staff was really what made my stay great. Check-in was prompt and efficient, even though a full vanload of us arrived from the airport at the same time. During my stay I asked one of the desk clerks for a recommendation for a running route. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, mapped out a couple of alternatives, and the next day he even followed up to ask me how it was (and then suggested a longer route for me to try for a bigger challenge!) Throughout my stay the staff was always friendly and accommodating.
I loved the lobby lounge/bar area, which had much more personality than your typical hotel bar. It extended to a wonderful outdoor seating area with a fire pit. While I was there they had a terrific acoustic guitar/singer playing in the lounge and I felt comfortable sitting there with a book and listening to the music w/o any pressure to make a bar purchase.
The rooms are functional and modern with quite spare decor. I did find that my room had a thin layer of dust in the corners (hardwood floors) and windowsill, but other than that appeared to be clean.
The hotel is a short walk to downtown (3 blocks maybe?) and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants.
If I am ever in Athens again, I would definitely revisit the Hotel Indigo.

The rooms were beautiful. The restaurant was very nice. Loved that the bar hosted a cocktail hour for dogs (cocktails for humans obviously). Very close to downtown Athens.

The service level was over my expectations. Front desk went out of their way to help me, without me even asking. Room was clean and modern.
One of the night there was live music at the bar/lobby.
