Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice boutique hotel with comfortable bed Overall I was pleased with my stay. Loved the hotel lobby and the room -- colorful and relaxing. Super friendly staff. The bathroom, however, was a bit disappointing as there were no washcloths and the water temperature was not that hot. But the bed was super comfy. The restaurant wasn't what I'd hoped to find in Baton Rouge-- slow service and all of the food that should have been hot was not, most disappointingly the gumbo. But I nevertheless enjoyed the stay. It's a nice hotel, and with a bit more attention to detail it would be a really great hotel. November 25, 2014

In additional, window dressing should be a little better at blocking streetlights and lights from adjacent buildings. That said, the elevators were close to my room and whisper silent; the bed was super comfy; and the stay was nice-- November 24, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Weekday getaway My husband and I "won" a night at Hotel Indigo at a school auction. We were looking forward to a getaway midweek. The registration desk was very welcoming but it was unclear where to pull up for valet parking, no one was outside. Check in went very smoothly and we were able to go right to our room even though we were early. The room was very small (very New York). The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed as other guests' hairs were all over the bathroom floor and carpet. The bar/restaurant was very disappointing. The bed was soft and the pillows were awful. The pillow were small and did not support at all. Wish I had brought my pillows from home. The air conditioner/heater clicked on and off all night long. The atmosphere was very modern but everything else took away from it. Valet parking was complimentary but it was on our check out form. The front desk clerk very easily corrected the error.
