Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic views A very comfortable stay in a room with outstanding views over the city. Good sized room and comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean and has a great shower. Breakfast was very good and the staff very efficient. I was a bit concerned about being immediately below the busy bar area, but experienced no noise at all. January 27, 2015

All the hotel staff went out of there way to make our stay special. The Breakfast had a great choice of foods and very fresh, and great to have fresh hot breakfast cooked to order. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't stay on 24th floor I have stayed here before, but not on a Saturday night. The hotel is built over 3 floors at the top of 'The Cube'. The 23rd and 24th floors have a total of around 50 rooms and the top 25th floor is bars and restaurant, which becomes a live music venue on Saturday night. And once the intensive bass thud coming through the floor died at 3am, we then had the sound of furniture being scraped on the floor, in time for the next day's service. We were under this and it is not an experience I would like to repeat. If i were to stay here again it would only be on 23rd floor - but since the corridor noise in the room was also loud, sounds of doors shutting and people chatting, I suspect that might not be too great on a Saturday night either. the possibility of noise wasnt mentioned at check in. We arrived early and i am sure we could have been put a floor down. Beyond this the hotel is quite cool with what would be great views if we weren't in the centre of Birmingham. On both occasions i've stayed here, i've been surprised by the lack of local knowledge from reception staff and the fact that you really have to prompt them if you want them to google any information for you. I think this is a hotel that needs some attention. January 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location to see Birmingham Hotel Indigo is on the top floors of the Cube ideally located for visits to theatres, symphony hall, ICC and NIA with lots of good restaurants close by. The rooms were bright, fresh and clean. The only downside for me was the price of the Full English breakfast which is extremely high with nothing to differentiate it from a breakfast at 1/3 of the price. That is minor to a great stay. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Indigo Birmingham - January 2015 - A good nights sleep A nice hotel in a great location at the Mailbox. Room, bed, pillows and darkness of the room where spot on - really good nights sleep. Reception is a little small and doesn't feel part of the hotel, its stuck in the corner. It took a bit of working out which floor it is on; 7 by the way. Signage could be better from the lower floors. Local area is great for a wide variation of food and drink and in the summer would be great to sit outside besides the canal and watch the world go by. I didn't try the Marco Pierre White restaurant linked to the hotel, but can recommend as I have eaten there before. The champagne bar is also great, but you need a partner or you look like you are on the pull :-) Overall, a nice hotel, good nights sleep in a nice part of Birmingham. January 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Superb We stayed to a few days and a couple nights, for a girlie spa break and we were not disappointed. Fantastic views, total comfort and cleanliness. Excellent and dedicated staff made us feel totally at ease from the time we entered the building. A credit to the city centre and not forgetting the spa zone and Marco Pierre-White's restaurant on the top floor. We would definitely stay again. January 18, 2015

The room, bathroom and linen were all clean. Breakfast was sufficiently efficient to allow me not to feel rushed and to get away to my business meeting on time. January 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent hotel 'let down by a minor issue" i cannot fault the room, it is excellent, really comfortable bed which results in a great nights sleep, refreshing design. great shower for the morning lovely towels. breakfast as always is very tasty and good value. great views from room. 2 issues it was a shame the upstairs bar was closed fpr a private function yet again. and for the third time no recognition for my ihg rewards status and no welcome amenity points, this is the 3rd time this has happened in my last 6 stays. i now have to go through the claim missing points issue again January 17, 2015
