My wife and I booked this hotel for my birthday and our 10th Wedding anniversary.
When we arrived we were greated by friendly and helpful reception staff and I was going to push for an upgrade due to our celebration but were taken aback when we were informed we had been upgraded already with a luxury room with balcony below Marco Pierre Whites Restaurant where we also had reservations.
We made our way to the room excited about the upgrade and upon opening the door were met with a very spacious room, decorated to a high standard and a fantastic view of Birmingham through the massive floor to ceilling windows and pation doors that opened onto the balcony with rattan cubed furniture and an even better view. MPW restearant was opposite and only a floor above.
The bed was big and comfy with pillows to match. Due to the size of the room however theTv was a little too far away and a bit small comapared to the room but only a minro issue.
The bathroom was spacious yet compact with a double sink and large walk in shower with plenty of complimentary toiletries. The mirror was also self demisting. The were towels aplenty however think they are now in need of replacing for a hotel of luxury.
We only used room service to get ice buckets during our stay and the room service fantastic with no sooner had we had put the phone down there was a knock at the door a few minutes later.
Check out took all of a few minutes whilst another pleasant receptionist checked our bill and thanked us for our stay.

I recently to celebrate an evening at NIA and wedding anniversary selected the Indigo for an overnight experience.
The overall service and quality of facilities was excellent and would strongly recommend to all.
A great location both with excellent lunch and dinner facilities and a location that is surrounded by numerous eating restaurants to choose from - well sited.
We also had a Spa Experience which was a last minute decision, however the team made the necessary arrangements, the treatments were great and well enjoyed.
So glad we chose the Indigo, a great experience to celebrate our Anniversary

Poor reception, room smelled of damp, indifferent staff, car parking is not next to the hotel so you may have to walk quarter of a mile in the rain.
