Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Find But Bad Van Service The property is new and comfortable. Very nice desk and restaurant staff. Spacious rooms and nice restaurant. Only down side was the airport van driver. It was Christmas Day/afternoon, granted, but he did not say hello, was not in uniform of any kind, we waited more than half an hour and he drove to a package store where we had to wait while an airline staff person on board went in to purchase liquor. This was incredibly inappropriate and rude! We'd been travelling with our kids all day and then waited for the van for over half an hour...we certainly did not want to make a personal side trip he could have made on his own time. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Kind of dissapointed I have stayed at this hotel at least 7 times this year. Always to notch. I called from the airport, around 10:00 pm, I was told the driver was already in route. The driver didn't show up until almost 10:35 pm. He blamed the previous drier for having the keys to both shuttles. I checked in and didn't get the bag of goodies I had received in the past. No important but they have made such a big deal in the past I thought I mentioned. Checked in and either the remote or the TV isn't working. I had some extra batteries and change them on the remote. Not working. Called the front desk and was told I would have to wait until she had taken care of some soon to be arriving guest. No problem, I went down and pick up the remote and no one was been checked in. When back to the room and it didn't work. For what you pay and based on past experience it wasn't a good night. Will I stay again? I have reservations for January and February 2014. Let's see what happens...... December 25, 2013

The rooms are unique and it makes you not even think about the more pricey hotels because this one is amazing!!!!!!! It's great when the staff greats you with a welcome back. They are the definition of southern hospitality. Whoever designed the hotel did a great job. When I need time to myself or need great rest, I come here. I never mind spending my money at hotel indigo. I make it my business to stay here at least once a month. Though I can get more ihg points for staying at 3 different hotels, Id rather sacrifice those points by staying here and here only.... Highly recommended.... I appreciate the staff and their professionalism with kindness. December 25, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional service and a comfortable bed I have stayed in a wide range of hotels around the world and have genuinely rarely experienced such a friendly, helpful and cheerful staff at any hotel anywhere in the world. From the front desk, and the restaurant through to the cleaners, everyone could not do enough or be more charming. The rooms were large and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is next to the Marta station and the occasional train might be slightly bothersome to some if you are a light sleeper. But everything that could be done by the exceptional staff is done. The room was clean and the bed is just like a piece of heaven. The only con we had was the menu for the restaurant. It is very limited. Other than that, we will visit this spot frequently. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay at hotel indigo I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo over the Thanksgiving holiday. I was impressed with the facility as a whole. The room was spacious, including the bathroom. There was a Keurig in the room so you didn't have to go downstairs for coffee in the morning. Housekeeping services were superb. There was nothing negative I can say other than the location is in historic College Park so there isn't much to do within walking distance at night, but Camp Creek Parkway is less than a mile away, where you can find restaurants, etc. Access to the interstate is very close as well. This was my first stay at Hotel Indigo but it definitely won't be my last. It is at the top of my list when I visit Atlanta December 3, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay Park and Fly We stayed on November 14, 2013. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We left our car there during our trip and took the shuttle to and from the airport. Upon our return, we called the hotel to arrange for a pickup at the airport. They were there within 10 to 15 minutes after receiving our call. We would certainly stay there again and highly recommend it. November 25, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Charming hotel in small town environment just outside of ATL My wife and I stayed here twice in November. The first time was very good, and the second time was outstanding! The staff are wonderful. The rooms are really nice, the bathroom comfortably large with two sinks and a large shower, and the bed was great. When I say the staff are wonderful, that includes the shuttle bus drivers, housekeeping, the front desk, the bar/restaurant staff, and the chef. All of them. The restaurant has a new chef, from sometime around the first of November. He is fantastic. I knew when I tasted the chicken noodle soup that this was no ordinary hotel restaurant...and the chef's special was incredible. My only issue is that the bar/restaurant does not simply give the guest a copy of the bill when you sign for it as part of your overall bill. There was a mistake, a significant mistake, on my bill at checkout, and I had to wait for the manager to come in to research it. I wish I had had my own copy. She did make it up to us with points and a complementary breakfast next time we stay, but it was a nuisance at the time. Ask for a copy of any bar/restaurant charges when you sign the ticket. They've got Direct TV and the picture on the Samsung is amazing. This is also the first hotel that has not had a bathtub. It had a standup shower instead. The hotel was built a year ago I was told when I checked out in the morning. And it was a quick 5 minutes to the airport. November 20, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Hotel! (But, avoid the restaurant/bar!) I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful hotel with large, clean rooms. Beds were firm and shower stall was MASSIVE! Front desk staff were pleasant and very attentive. Awesome! Having said that, the staff and quality of food at the restaurant/bar were both sub-par. We were in the restaurant for over 2 hours and we were the only customers - and the orders were mostly burgers! Prices were what you usually see for in-hotel restaurants - higher than they should be - so no surprise there. The food was "good" at best. Again, this is fairly typical for these types of restaurants. We had a group of 6 people (3 couples). They refused to split the check into 3. I presume that it was because they charge a standard gratuity for large groups. If they'd have simply told us that, we'd have told them to just put the same percentage on each tab that they'd normally charge for a large group. Of course, I began to understand why they refused to split the check when I finally saw the bill - THEY CHARGE 24% GRATUITY FOR LARGE GROUPS!! 24%?!?!?! For TERRIBLE service and average food?!?! If we had been waited on properly, I MIGHT have been OK with this. However, our waitress was difficult to find most of the time. The food took forever to make it to the table. The staff seemed more interested in hanging out with their friends at the bar. You've been warned - STAY AWAY FROM THE BAR/RESTAURANT! November 18, 2013

The room rates and hotel's location can not be beat.  My reserved room was not available to check into due to my early morning flight but, I was able to check into the King Feature room instead. I was in awe when I first opened the door to this enormous room. The design and decor of the room was modern and trendy. The staff was also very professional and courteous. The only two complaints would have to be that my room was not equipped with a mini refrigerator/microwave and my stay wasn't long enough. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. Hotel Indigo is my new favorite hotel and will be the only place that I'll stay and recommend to others when visiting Atlanta in the future. November 18, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Leave Your Blues Behind- Go Indigo The contemporary architectural and interior design of this hotel make it not just somewhere to stay but a place to be admired. It has real class from the reception to the room; from the bar to the bathrooms and those curved walls are just so soothing. The hotel was easily accessed and a warm welcome greeted us on arrival. The staff were very relaxed, extremely polite, courteously friendly, highly knowledgeable and great to chat to; probably the best I've ever encountered. We asked about local restaurants and were advised about a number within walking distance and even given a copy of the menu for two of them; the advice was spot on. The room was spacious and the decor was delightful. The beds were very comfortable with sumptuous mattresses, covers and pillows. The gym looked well equipped and I saw several people using it. There is outside noise from some planes and more so from the occasional early morning freight train - but it is an airport hotel and most of Atlanta can probably here the train! The metro is a few yards away, making all of downtown accessible and the airport is only one stop away. It was a real joy to stay at the Indigo and it represents amazing value for money. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gem in College Park!! I'm so glad I stayed here! The staff was fabulous! I flew out early and my reservation wasn't until the next afternoon. I called and Irene at the front desk had stated the hotel had no rooms. Thirty minutes later (mind you, it's 12:30am and I'm still at Atlanta Hartsfield) she calls back and tells me she has one available! OMG, what a life saver! The staff was wonderful, the shuttle driver (Donald) was so pleasant! Pam in the bar was kind enough to let me grab a drink right before she closed! The morning breakfast staff were the most kind and warm folks I've encountered in a minute and the buffet was on point! Loved the rooms! What a jewel for such an affordable price. I flew in to see the Falcons play the Seahawks (GO HAWKS!) and spent the rest of my time in an "upscale" downtown hotel. $22 dollars for parking and the room was nowhere as nice at the one I had just left! What a mistake! Should've stayed at Hotel Indigo the entire trip! Thank you for making my stay so wonderful! November 14, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to stay Looking for an inexpensive place to stay for one night. Found the hotel to be cheaper than others in the same area. We were pleasantly please at the hotel. Great decor, great staff, spacious room, clean, comfortable beds, and great food in the restaurant. The only thing if I had something to complain about would be the cost of the meal in the restaurant. Definitely will stay again for an up coming trip to Atlanta. November 6, 2013
