We needed a geographic cure, and having enjoyed the Columbus, Indiana area in the past, we chose Hotel Indigo for our destination. What a wonderful experience! Thank you for everything from the friendly staff to the artistic twist in the hotel design. It was just the cure we needed! The proximity to the lovely town and Mill Race Park allowed us to put the car keys away and enjoy the fall walking weather throughout our stay. We will definitely return to Hotel Indigo!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HoosierTeacher Great Hotel - One Drawback
Great hotel - beautiful decorations, nice pool and hot tub, wonderful location to walk downtown. The kids loved the games in the lobby and the hotel dog, Miles. The only drawback is there are train tracks close to the hotel. My husband and I both heard a few trains during the night. I often don't sleep well in a hotel anyway, but please don't be surprised by those nightly sounds!

The check-in experience, staff, and breakfast were phenomenal. This is a wonderful hotel, located close to the core of Columbus, very convenient for visiting all the great architecture in town. I would recommend this hotel for anyone intent on visiting Columbus.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chella11 Lots to do in the area
This was our secod stay at this hotel. Like before, the hotel was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel has an overall neat design. There are a lot of things to keep you busy here. There are the people trails. Take your bicycle, the city seems to be very bike friendly. You could head over to the Brown County State Park. They have a lot of unique restaurants, in the area, that you should try. There are multiple wineires and breweries in the area that you should visit too. A great place to take a weekend getaway.

I travel to Columbus at least twice a year and I always look forward to staying at the Indigo. This hotel is comfortable, stylish and located in a perfect spot to enjoy downtown columbus. I love to see Miles greet me every time I arrive, he's the finest ambassador dog.
My last stay I booked a suite and I was very pleased. Lots of space, comfortable and a beautiful room. My cleaning staff was so friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 You can do more to wow your customers !
I have a wonderful stay during my 1 week visit. All aspects are good and services are excellent.
The only one area which I think you will need to improve on, is the business centre computers.
I was here 2 years ago, and yet, I am seeing the same old computers there.
The speed is atrociously slow, and with business customers like us running short of time, we can't afford to wait on the desk waiting for the computer to process for too long.
So, please make an effort to upgrade and change the 2 computers to one which is faster and better.
That will make my stay much more pleasant.

I Always Enjoy My Stay In This Hotel. This Visit Was Especially Memorable Because I Had A Personalized, Handwritten Note From One Of The Housekeeping Employees, Patricia, Welcoming To The Hotel. Some Of The Towels Were Folded Into Little Animals :-) This Set The Tone For A Very Enjoyable Experience! Thank You Indigo Columbus!

This was my third stay in as many years and the quality and service at Hotel Indigo only gets better! The most unique and clean room I've stayed in while traveling. I like the convenience of being able to walk downtown to eat and drink and of course Miles is the premier mascot. I'll see you again next year.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PapaB Great Room...poor meals
Our stay was excellent EXCEPT that we purchased the breakfast option with our stay. On Saturday morning, there was one person working the "coffee bar" (loose term in that the brewed coffee wasn't special in anyway, they offered espresso drinks but there was no visible espresso bar and the "barista" probably wasn't properly trained in coffee making) who was also the waitress, the hostess, the table busser and the food runner. The service was slow BECAUSE there was only one person - it was entirely understaffed for the number of people they had in the restaurant.
Additionally, the juice was disappointing - for what we paid for an add, we expected something a bit better than juice from a machine. The food had a very "thawed and microwaved" quality to it and the "fruit" that was included was a single, mediocre strawberry that acted as a garnish.
Where it wasn't nearly as crowded on Sunday and service was much quicker, the quality of the food product did not improve.
All in all, after experiencing the rest of the hotel and what it had to offer, it was a shock at how poorly run the restaurant was - it seems like such an odd place to cut corners to save money.
Because of everything else offered, I'd highly recommend the Hotel Indigo in Columbus, Indiana, but I would also say skip breakfast there and go adventuring to one of the local cafes or restaurants located downtown or even the farmer's market that's held one block away during the summer months.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CatherineLM I highly recommend this clean, comfortable hotel.
We have stayed in this hotel over the past few years, for both business and leisure. The staff is quick to respond to our questions, needs, etc., with Miles being the shining star of hospitality. The location is excellent, with the added bonus of the park and trails located across the street.
I appreciate the clean, wood floors and very comfortable beds.
My only suggestion is to have on site laundry. Although you offer pick up and delivery service, the fees can get pricey when lodging for days, or weeks, at a time. But for the laundry, the Indigo rates A +. We will return.

I loved a hotel and room without carpet. This was great for my allergies. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the food in the Galley. Not up to the expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Didn't get to stay long enough to use any amenities in the room so can only appreciate the clean room with no carpet.

The designers of Indigo must have had a ball thinking of ways to delight and surprise the guests. Using the 50's theme of Columbus IN, they created a happy environment that I still love thinking about.
The people were friendly, too.

We loved our stay at the Indigo. One of the most beautiful and unique hotels we've stayed in. I expected it to be out of our price range but it was actually cheaper than the big chain hotel we tried first (no room in the inn there). We would recommend and will be staying there again soon.

Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Very quiet, slept like a baby. Bed was very comfortable and everything else in the room was clean. I would definitely recommend this place to someone else and will continue to use this hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dixingirl Amazing time!
The attention to detail at the Indigo was awesome. My kids loved seeing Miles the dog in the lobby, there were books and games to borrow for the room, and we even got to keep a pet fish "Lucky" in our room overnight. I was alone with my three kids 4 and under on business, and it was so easy being at that hotel. The room service was free, so every night I ordered milk for the kids and a drink for myself, and it was usually delivered within 10 minutes, which was impressive.
The people at the front desk are super nice. If I'm ever in Columbus again, there is no doubt I would stay there.

I was gladly surprised by the design which seemed to me original. However I want to highlight hoe colorful it is, with this splash of colors it invite me to be in good mood always. Beds are very very comfortable, all employees very kind and helpful. Definitely I will get back to this hotel in my next visit to Columbus. Thank you all.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GerryB1 Best place to stay in Columbus!
The hotel is well appointed and very clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. In particular, Leanne, always tries to accommodate you if she can. Sara is the best bartender and she likes to make concoctions, go ahead give her a challenge, she'll do her best. The breakfast staff do a great job and they're very friendly.
The hotel is often sold out so its best to call ahead and reserve a room.

Excellent hotel -
The staff are always helpful and friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hotel is always clean and tidy. Rooms are cleaned daily and never any complaints. The design of the hotel is excellent throughout. Modern and well thought out, with lots of spaces for sitting and relaxing. And WIFI throughout is a real plus for me.
The hotel is centrally located in downtown. Definitely my first choice when staying in Columbus.

First time we stayed at an Indigo hotel. Loved the sleek interior design, especially the wood floors--much cleaner than typical hotel carpeting. The pool also seemed cleaner than many other hotels. Comfy beds.

My sisters and I regularly get away for a shopping weekend -- this time it was in Edinburgh and Greenwood. Since I had won a certificate for a nite at Hotel Indigo, we decided it would be the perfect 'home base'. And it was! It is easy to get to; staff was friendly and helpful; room was clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend Hotel Indigo.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LenexaTraveler Great boutique hotel in the middle of small town Indiana1
I do business in Columbus and I was very pleased to find the Hotel Indigo. It is a great boutique hotel with a full service restaurant and a pretty good bar. The restaurant and front desk staff knew me by my second stay and made me feel special and at home. Love that Myles the hotel dog is at home in the lobby, the art, and the towel art - yes the towel art it is a pleasant surprise throughout the hotel. I recommend the Hotel Indigo over the other chain hotels in town for a warm and comfortable stay in Columbus!

Very worth the money and excellent hotel, which is very modern for a US sort of country area.
- One issue is the air conditioning unit is too noise to have on and its not just one room as this model of a/c is not good for this application!
