Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love this hotel We have stayed at hotel Indigo's elsewhere and twice, so far, at this particular hotel (we already have another reservation in a couple of weeks). Our experiences have been very positive. After reading other reviews, I felt compelled to write my own. Unless each room have totally different mattresses and showers, I can't imagine how someone can say that these rooms are uncomfortable and the shower has no water pressure. We found the exact opposite. Hotel staff upon our arrival has been very friendly and professional. Welcomes us as Priority Club members. Our rooms have been clean and comfortable. We think the bed is extremely comfortable and the shower outstanding for a hotel. Toiletries are a nice quality. I would say our only disappointment was the restaurant. We booked a package that included breakfast and although the food was very good...once we got it, the staff seems totally bewildered at waiting on tables and we were left sitting for an unacceptable amount of time waiting to be acknowledged and then a very long time before our food was served. If the restaurant was busy, it could be overlooked, but we were basically alone with only one other table occupied. Our first morning, the waiter had no idea what the breakfast coupon was and we had to explain it to him. June 11, 2013

We all commented on How the design made us feel that we were at the beach. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was very inviting. June 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We enjoy our stay The rooms reminded us of a small apartment. Very spacious, refreshing decor and overall pleasant atmosphere. The mattresses could be a little more comfortable. I am a fan of tempurpedic. However it was still an outstanding experience. We will certainly stay there again when we visit. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Big decline since last stay... While still a novel idea in lodging design, the RTP Hotel Indigo has declined greatly in the past few months. On our recent visit we found our room to be dirty (sand on the bedcovers, stains on pillow shams, mildew in the shower, and marks on the walls). Interestingly, there was a tissue balled up and stuffed in the door's peephole. We will not stay at this property again. May 31, 2013

Last few times I've been at this hotel it's been steadily going down hill. on the higher floors there is little to no pressure for showers. (piddles out of the shower head# Water for shower and shaving during last few visits has been cold. Little to no hot water. I even went as far as to run the hot water in the shower for 30 minutes before I tried to shower. VERY LITTLE effect. only warm water at best with full hot on. Every time I've made mention to the desk, they act surprised... #we both know differently!!!# Finally after asking several questions to them they admitted that this time it is worse than normal and that their plumbers are working on it. #I heard this story last time I stayed as well# The shower floors are slimy #probably because your staff don't have enough water to clean properly either#. Shower floor corners and where the walls meet the floors are mildew... Elevator floors and edges are filthy. ground in dirt where walls meet floors in the elevators. keep getting dirtier. Stains in the seats of many of the office and sitting chairs in many of the rooms... Look like sweated or spilled into... and not cleaned. The coffee cups in the room I was in were never replaced. the same cups were their the whole week. #i marked the bottom with pencil so I knew). my question is how did they wash them? what did they use? There are several of my work collegues that used to stay at this hotel but we all agree to go elsewhere from now on. Not worth it. May 22, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No hot water I've stayed at this property a number of times when I have work at RTP. Each visit was very nice and I have not had any complaints, just compliments. This visit was only fair as two of my three days at the hotel did not have hot water. Also, the staff at the restaurant in the morning were decidedly unfriendly. Restaurant staff in the evening were just as pleasant as ever, and the front desk staff was very nice as well. Hopefully they fix the hot water problem and give the morning staff some refresher training on hospitality. I recommend this hotel based on the sum of my experiences, hoping that this last visit was an aberration. May 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel! Second time staying at this Hotel Indigo location. The service was courteous and efficient. The room was clean and refreshing. The bathroom was well stocked with quality products. As with the first stay, the bed was extremely comfortable. We stay in this area several times a year, and will always stay here! Only one suggestion for improvement - we'd love to see a continental breakfast buffet available, or of not that, just a pastry/coffee buffet for a quick bite in the AM. May 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love The Indigo!!! I stayed at this location the end of April and I was so pleased with everything. The staff was pleasant and the room was superb. I have stayed at the Indigo in San Diego and was pleased to know that this brand is consistent. The hotel has a contemporary feel. I am very particular about bathrooms where I stay and this was very inviting and refreshing. I enjoyed the Aveda products and the spa shower. I will always look for an Indigo wherever I visit. As for this location they get a perfect 10 from me, (and I am not easy to please)! :) May 6, 2013
