LIKES: LOCATION (very convenient to downtown), DECOR
DISLIKES: BOOKING EXPERIENCE, PRICE, AMENITIES
My husband and I have stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Sarasota twice, and we love everything about it. Based on our past positive experiences at that Hotel Indigo, we chose to stay at the one in Ft. Myers when we were in town for a wedding. While the style of the decor reflected our expectations, not much else did. Booking our stay was difficult, and we did not get the room we were promised over the phone. While the room we stayed in was nice and the hotel was close to downtown, we missed having a few things in this Hotel Indigo that we had in the other, e.g. mini-fridge in our room, longer pool hours, a restaurant AND bar within the hotel, etc. While we enjoyed out stay, we do not feel the price we paid was a fair one or that our experience was really up to the standard of our previous stays with the Hotel Indigo chain.

Overall the room was just okay. As I previously stated the room was clean and the bedding and mattress were more than adequate. However the room was a little rough in places and the ac unit was very, very loud. So loud it kept me from sleeping. Lack of power outlets near the bed was a bummer. The shower with no doors is cool looking but certainly not functional, at least for me anyway. The bathroom floor had to be mopped after each shower.

The table desk and chair would be a problem for many guests, as it was for me. The chair was too low; table too high for comfortable use. The electrical access for computer connection; device charging, etc. was very limited at the desk - requiring unplugging the lamp to provide access.
