Breakfast was a very bad experience; extremely slow, not enough variety and could not cope with more than 5 people at a time. Also, toiletries were not replaced in the 4 days I spent there. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Suite and Great Stay Recently came down to Glasgow for a weekend of shopping, drinking and eating and decided to stay here and booked the suite. Stayed in a lot of 5* hotels and the suite really did stand out - on the small side especially the bathroom and shame no room for a bath - shower was also not very powerful, however that is the only niggles - everything else was perfect! Lots of nice little touches, really nicely decorated, exceptionally clean, free mini bar regularly topped up and just a really great experience. We only had drinks in the bar as we were eating out both nights, but bar is very trendy as well and staff really friendly. We will definitely be coming back to stay here. Not sure what the standard rooms are like but highly recommend the suite ! Thanks again for a wonderful stay. June 23, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 5 Days in June, 2012 Location, front-desk staff, concierge, hotel design (especially bathrooms) were all excellent for us. The room was quiet and bright with sufficient closet and shelf space. We had a wonderful time in Edinburgh (including a day of golf at the Braid Hill public course, which requires the legs of a mountain goat but has fantastic views of the City and surroundings). Definitely walk to Leith and have oysters at Fishers Tower restaurant (or any of the great pubs near the canal). National Portrait Gallery very close and supurb (with great coffee bar) SUGGESTIONS - My wife is 5'2" - she found the bed too high - could have used a step to climb onto it. - Room could have used a night light in the bathroom - turning on the full bathroom light will immediately wake up anyone who is still sleeping (especially with the very odd glass panels in the bathroom door) -- Why are bathroom light switches OUTSIDE the bathroom? - again, any sleeping partner will be disturbed if you turn on the bathroom light and open the door to enter the bathroom - Whoever cleaned our room could have used a CheckList to make sure everything was replaced (shampoo missing one day, coffee bags another day, milk another, and so on). But cleaning ws excellent - How about dedicating a computer and printer for airline boarding passes? But these were minor dissapointments - we would definitely stay here again. June 22, 2012

We only stayed one night as we had tickets to go to the Ideal Home Show at the SECC in Glasgow the following day. From the moment I walked in I loved the place! It's so stylish and, yet, comfortable. The lobby is very welcoming and the bar next to it very cosy and colourful! We stayed in a superior room on the 4th floor. I loved everything in it. The decor was fantastic, again, very colourful which I love! It was also very clean and it had all the things to would expect to find at a top hotel. The bathroom wasn't huge, though, a very good size with a superb shower. We also had food at the bar at night which was very tasty. Though it was only a snack (croque monsieur,chips, salad, etc.) it was very well cooked/presented. Some places can't even get a sandwich right! Overall we loved this hotel and should I have the opportunity again, I will definitely like to stay here again. June 14, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable beds, fun design, but...... Business requires that I travel a lot. This was a vacation trip. We found the room design very modern and fun. Beds very comfortable and the shower was GREAT! We did encounter a couple of inconveniences: No bellman to assist with luggage, had to wait a long time to get checked in -- clerks very busy on the phone. No valet parking, self-parking is in garage across the street so it was close by, but difficult without valet assistance. After a long drive that day, we would have appreciated a quick check-in and luggage assistance! June 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fab hotel! I luv this hotel! Stayed here 3 times on a DBB package and every time it has been great. Rooms are very modern, decent size and the shower is fab. Dinner in the Limelight restaurant was lovely, cocktails are great with a good selection, if anything a bit pricey at approx £7.50 each!! Breakfast had a great selection of all the usual cereals, fruit, yogurt and pastries with hot breakfast made to order. Would always look to stay in this hotel if visiting Glasgow. June 12, 2012

I've stayed at the Glasgow Indigo now on several occasions and it's always my first choice when in Glasgow. Why ? Because it ticks all the boxes and more. It's fresh and with a modern twist. The rooms are devine, opulent, spacious and luxurious.The free,yes free mini bar topped it off. The Glasgow breakfast. Well, it's cooked to order,not the standard lukewarm buffet sadly common to most chain hotels. Ayrshire bacon,lorne square sausage,potato scone - classic. The restaurant walls are adorned with portraits of famous Glaswegians/Scots. I just loved having breakfast under the magical,the one and only Jimmy Johnstone of Celtic and Scotland fame ! Praise also to the staff. All were welcoming and professional with a special mention for Colm from Belfast, front of house. Outstanding attention, a great credit to the hotel. The location also is very good. In downtown Glasgow and what a city this is. North American by design with the central street area laid out in a grid fashion so easy to get around. You will just love the architecture here ! For me it's the Uk's answer to New York. It's sassy, vibrant and chique all in one - it's a must see place ! The hotel Indigo Glasgow fits well with this great city,hand in glove I'd say. Do yourself a favour, visit and stay at the hotel Indigo .Like me you'll be waxing lyrical. Can't wait to return ! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by QUICK TO REACT Arrived at the Glasgow Indigo and was greeted warmly and shown up to 'upgraded' room (I am a Platinum member). All was well until the TV was switced on and nothing happened (frozen screen). Went back to reception and was immediately put in an equal quality romm with apologies. This is how to treat customers! A most enjoyable stay and a very funky bar and barman! On the basis of this very positive experience, booked into the brand new Edinburgh Indigo on its 1st week of opening (26th March), Super experience, very welcoming anfd obliging young team, even though there were some usual opening 'hiccups' - to be expected. However, no record of my stay on Priority Club nor any points! Can this be resolved?? June 7, 2012

The rooms are among the most comfortable we have experienced and appreciate the little extras in the room - a nice touch. All staff we came in contact with both at reception, bar and restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly - they are an asset to the hotel - well done. Location is good with easy parking.
