comfortable albeit with "cool" decor. The staff are great and the breakfast is fab. OK, it is not "downtown" so you have to take a cab - but for me this is an advantage. I''ll be back.... as the former governor of CA once said. [Less]
Service in China is usually pretty bad, at this hotel it's better. While there is some lack of attentiveness generally you get pretty good service in eating areas and slightly slower than expected[More]
service in the check in and check out process. The room while very comfortable and well decorated has a darkness to it making it difficult to stay awake. It's both a blessing and a curse. There seems to be several overhead lights but all appear to be focused spot lights giving the room and overall darkness in the middle. Perhaps adding wall sconces or some changing the bulb type from spot light to diffused/spread light might help. Overall a pleasant stay and the rate is quite good considering it's in an up and coming area. [Less]
