I loved my stay at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco. The hotel was beautiful and the room almost perfect. I wish it would have had two queens instead of two doubles...but with the[More]
small size of the rooms it worked. I also wished there would have been a better way to get a diet coke than paying $5 per small bottle downstairs. But I guess you pay for the experience.
The staff was friendly, if not overly so, and we were especially treated very well by all the bellmen and valets. We didn't get a chance to try the dining, because it was a bit pricey, and in San Fran - hotel food is not on my priority list. But we did check out the view from the Top of the Mark, and it was AMAZING. I'd recommend at least heading up for dessert, drinks, and a little music.
When we got there we found out the Vice President of the United States was staying there. It was a testament to the quality, beauty, and history of the hotel. It ended up being a near perfect weekend. [Less]
