There was a hot breakfast in the mornings from 6:30 am to 9:30 am that included waffles, toast, muffins, fresh fruit, oatmeal along with either scrambled eggs or mini omelettes and for meat a rotation of bacon, sausage links and sausage patties. We found the food to be very tasty.
During the week (Tue/Wed/Thu evenings) they have a happy hour that includes free wine or beer with a hot food item. From past and future postings we noted they had offered pizza, meatball sliders, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza among the foods. Unfortunately, we were never available to participate in this.
If you prefer a location near downtown, this place is 35-50 minutes from downtown. However, if you prefer a place out of the loop and a variety of restaurants, retail centers and big box stores this is a great place to stay as there are numerous eateries and shopping places within a 2-4 mile radius.
