especially being a water park. Water park is good for a one day stay, max, and primarily for kids up to middle school age.
Room came with a small refrigerator and microwave. I brought my work with me. Internet access was good and sufficient plugs for multiple devices.
Restaurant food was OK, with all basics available. Breakfast buffet was OK. Kids under 14 eat free with adult purchase.
Complimentary coffee in the lobby runs out by early morning. Employees in the counter saw me attempt getting coffee with no cups around, (I had to run up to my room to get a cup), only to then find out coffee was out. No one said or offered anything. construction equipment, but there weren't any related noises that I heard when I was there. The microwave and fridge worked fine - I didn't use the stove.
It was a little noisy on the ground floor, mostly because I was directly across from the Cupboard and fitness center, but the hotel is small enough that there's not a lot of foot traffic even when it's near capacity. Parking was easy even with the construction dumpster in the lot, and access to I-94 is really quick (although it might take a little longer if students are in town, and of course football game days would be a whole different story).
I've always had good experiences at Candlewood locations, and this is no exception. [Less]
