Room was comfortable, although bathroom was EXTREMELY small. The rooms were quiet at night, and had a nice tv. My room had two double beds - would have preferred a king or at least a queen bed. The[More]
construction noise between 9-5 was very loud on the upper floors - which was only an issue the first morning I was there (after an 11 hour drive the day before), as I was at a conference the rest of the week of my stay. Most staff were extremely courteous, although the night of my arrival, there was two people at the front desk, and as the line started forming to check in - one person just walked off - leaving one staff at the front desk. The hotel is convenient to restaurants, the convention center, and other places of interest and has an attached and convenient parking garage. My room key(s) did not work properly - it took multiple tries (like 20 ) with the key card to get the door to open (apparently, I had a defective lock). I would have rated the hotel higher without the construction noise and if my keys had actually worked properly. The restaurant and room service were reasonably priced and the food was pretty good.
