I really must commend the kindness, generosity, and professionalism of the hotel staff. I have stayed at the Lenoir City hotel for the last four years while attending monthly diaconate formation[More]
classes/conferences/retreats for the Diocese of Knoxville. This most recent stay was one where the staff really went the extra mile. I have a disability and when at the hotel, I usually stay in the same room. This time I had to be moved to a different room because my usual room was still in use. Immediately upon telling me this, the front desk staff offered to move me the next day "if I had the time."
As it turns out, I would not have had the time, but the hotel staff certainly did. During our lunch break, I was about to head to my room and one of the cleaning staff stopped me in the hall to give me the key cards to my "normal" room. It didn't have to be done, but they did...what's more, they moved my things into the "other" room exactly the way that I had them. I was deeply impressed.
Breakfast was quite good, I was only sorry that I had so little time to stay and enjoy it, and it was wonderful to see half and half available with coffee! [Less]
