Our stay here was above and beyond what we were expecting. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming as well as attentive to our needs and the needs of others. The food at the social was good[More]
(pork chop night) and the breakfast was fantastic. The room itself (king bedroom suite) was excellent and extremely clean. In the morning we did notice that we could hear people in the hallways pretty well while we were in the sitting area, but this was not at all a problem in the bedroom. The fitness center was good and there are free laundry facilities (which we did not use). We will certainly be staying here again when we are in the area. It was quite pleasant and would have been great for a longer leisure visit. Although we were not in town on business, the room setup was also very amenable for business travelers and would have suited us well if we were in on business and needed to be able to work from the room. My wife attended a conference in downtown Dallas but we needed to stay in an IHG property (we were using reward points) that was pet-friendly. A quick review of the Dallas-area offerings revealed[More]
this property. It's a little older, but we could tell from reviews that it had been recently renovated, and the rewards price point was great, so we booked it.
Great choice! The hotel was great, although the lobby was a bit drab and outdated. The owners, however, spent their renovation money wisely by pouring it into the rooms. Nice furniture, comfortable couch, chair and bed. Big flat screen tv with plenty of HD channels.
The front desk staff were really friendly and even upgraded me from a studio to a one-bedroom suite, which was a welcome surprise.
Plenty of restaurant options nearby and an easy 15-minute drive into the heart of downtown Dallas.
Book with confidence, folks. [Less]
