Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DISAPPOINTING FOR THE PRICE! I was very excited to stay in this property after seeing the photos and hearing/reading reveiws. Upon arrival, the staff was PHENOMENAL! Very friendly and helpful and professional. I booked a king suite for 2 nights. We entered the room and a dead roach was on the floor (thank God it was dead). We promptly called the front desk and the manager was informed. The manager did take a portion off the nightly rate but it left such a sour taste in our mouth. I was very disappointed for the alleged quality of this particular property. Again, the staff was WONDERFUL!!! The property was not... August 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what we've come to expect! From check-in to check-out we enjoyed our stay as always! The manager was very accommodating for our special occasion. The front desk had a great selection of close restaurants in walking distant. (This was a first from any hotel we ever visited, A BIG plus!) We highly recommend you stay at this hotel. As it's our choice for stay every single time we frequent Houston. Too close to everything in the Galleria area you might think about getting exercise and walking everywhere if the weather is comfortable enough. Thanks again you guys at Indigo your the best! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The perfect hotel Overall, we loved Hotel Indigo right down to the blueberry wallpaper in our room. Everything at Hotel Indigo was perfect, the staff, the ambience, and even the value. To make a long story short if you go to Houston in the Galleria area the only place you should stay is Hotel Indigo. Also, make sure you grab some breakfast downstairs at least once during your stay, their french toast is simply to die for! August 12, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, but hidden Hotel is different than your normal Holiday Inn hotels but is nice. Bar staff was great and food was good. I stayed on points and was upgraded. Staff was helpful but quiet and not very outgoing. But I think this is the overall tone for the hotel, which isn't bad if your just wanting a quiet, hidden, place to crash at. Access to the hotel is tricky. Is it kind of hidden off the road and signs are in place at the entrance but are easy to miss. July 15, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Front Desk Staff and FREE PARKING!!! We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo at the Galleria. The Front Desk staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. Our room was large and nicely appointed. The only issues we had were that the bathroom door was a little out of square, so if you did not push it all the way closed and latched it would swing open and be a little in the way. Also, the entry area where there was a sink, the bathroom, and closet was always warmer than the rest of the room. My wife did not care for the openness of the shower. It had no curtain or door, but we liked the shower itself. The bed was very comfortable and the workspace/desk was plenty large to accommodate my computer and other materials. Breakfast items were a bit pricey, so we did not eat at the hotel, but the FREE PARKING was a blessing! Overall it was a very nice stay. June 19, 2013

The modern design and the rooms were nice, comfortable, and well-equipped, but the highlight of our stay was the courteous and capable customer service which we received from the front desk. Justin, and especially, Carl, went out of their way to be helpful to us. Carl helped us find suitable dining options and local venues and even printed out directions to them from his computer. All the while having a kind and warm demeanor which made our stay at Indigo feel like our home away from home! We would definitely stay here again if in the Houston area, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone else. Great job, Indigo, on your hiring choice for your front desk! God bless y'all!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service & Comfortable Room I always stay at the Hotel Indigo Galleria when I am visiting Houston due to the large, clean, well-furnished rooms, bright, wide interior hallways, excellent customer service, hypo allergenic bedding, ease of internet connectivity and overall comfort of the hotel facilities. The only con I have is that the entrance is located on a one-way street so if you miss the entrance you have to make a long detour to get back to the hotel. May 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Refreshing hotel! Cute hotel, not too big....very refreshing décor. We loved the corner unit....with the wood floors. It was very clean, with comfortable beds....and nice little kitchenette area. We heard no noise during out stay, with the exception of the A/C....that was a little loud....but not a deal breaker. The staff at the desk were very nice and we got a greeting each time we left or arrived back at the hotel. The restaurant staff was great, too. They had a pretty good selection of goodies for us to take back to the room, as well. We were less than 5 min. walk from the hotel to the Galleria, which was great for us, since shopping is what we came to do. The only thing I would suggest is to have a roll of paper towels for the kitchenette. We spilled coffee and had to use our bath towel to clean it up. Other than that, the stay was perfect and we will be visiting AGAIN!!!! May 6, 2013

All the staff had a big smile on their faces, the rooms were wonderful, and the food was very fresh and delicious, specially the trout dish. I have only 2 observations: I just wish that even the small rooms had a microwave and one of the pillows were a little bit softer. I'll come back to Indigo for sure! April 24, 2013

Derk, Brian, Matt, Scott, & Lorraine all above accomodating.Bar is a great place to end the day. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Improved rooms and service for a good value I've lost track, but I think this was my fifth stay at Indigo Houston. I was happy to see some welcome improvements this visit over my previous stay about six months earlier. Specifically, my 1BR suite now included both a refrigerator and a microwave oven, which as I offered after my last stay makes perfect sense with all the space in the kitchen. This was perfect during my 10 day stay for quick breakfasts or other meals/snacks. The other improvement in the suite was two brand new HD wide screen TVs. That was nice for watching a bit of football. The other improvement was in service. This visit I didn't have to wait as long to be served in the cafe and the response to requests (condiments, water, coffee) was quicker. The front desk personnel also overall seemed friendlier and more caring (there's still one who I've never seen smile). I'd still like to see a few more dumbbells added to the fitness room. It's a pretty sparse collection and some don't have their mate. It would also be nice not to have my room key stop working (it happened three times on this stay). I also had to request soap when I was about to run out instead of Housekeeper adding it proactively. But overall, especially for the rate, the Indigo Houston is a very comfortable hotel and a very good value. I plan to return in 4-5 months. February 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay This was my first stay at an Indigo. The Intercontinental recently sold, so I was in search of a new hotel for my frequent trips to the area. I had a great room that was very quiet and comfortable. This was the most relaxing stay I have had at a hotel in a long time. Love the decor. Clear attention to detail was evident. Friendly staff. Free parking is a huge plus. Great recognition for Platinum. If there is any negative to this hotel it is that it is hard to get to because of the one way streets (easy to get out though). This will be my hotel of choice in the Galleria area from now on. Really love it. January 28, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Professional and Courteous Staff I have been staying at this hotel almost weekly for about 3 years. I find their staff to be extremely professional, friendly, and catering to my needs. The rooms are updated, clean, and comfortable, and the location is excellent with ample parking right next to the Galleria. The rooms are also quiet, and there is very little outside noise regardless of what room you are in because there is a 100 yard drive off of the main road to get to the hotel parking lot. I cannot compliment the staff enough. They do everything they can to make the Hotel Indigo feel like my home away from home. January 4, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by VEHICLE WAS BROKEN INTO IN THE PARKING LOT!! THE HOTEL ROOM WAS HOT! THE DRIVEWAY FOR HOTEL. WAS HARD TO FIND. STAFF WAS SLOW AND NOT INTERESTED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. MY TRUCK WAS BROKEN INTO IN THE PARKING LOT OVER NIGHT. WE NOTIFIED THE HOTEL AND SYLVESTOR CAME OUT TOOK PICTURES AND SAID HE WOULD REPORT IT AND SOMEONE WOULD BE CALLING ME MONDAY MORNING. HE ALSO SAID THERE HAD BEEN SEVERAL BREAK INS IN THE AREA (ACROSS THE PARKING LOT) BUT THE HOTEL DID NOT WARN THEIR CUSTOMERS. IT TOOK 2 WEEKS BEFORE I GOT A CALL ANDTHEN IT TOOK 3 MONTHS (AFTER I CALLED THEIR INS. CO. SEVERAL TIMES) BEFORE I FINALLY GOT AN ANSWER TO THE HOTEL REPAIRING MY TRUCK. THE ANSWER WAS NO THEY WERE NOT GOING TO REPAIR MY TRUCK AND IT IS ONLY THE DOOR LOCK THAT WAS DAMAGED. NOTHING ELSE WAS TAKEN OR DAMAGED. SO KNOW I HAVE A HOLE WHERE THE KEYS GOES IN MY TRUCK DOOR BECAUSE HOTEL INDINGO'S INS WILL NOT PAY TO FIX. September 24, 2012
