Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and funky decor We stayed in this wonderful hotel which is in walking distance to the majority of attractions. The décor was fantastic, the room was comfortable and tidy albeit a little smaller than other hotels within the group. The concierge was fantastic - he knew the history of the hotel, the history of the City and he was very proud on Liverpool. He was so helpful in find our way around and nothing was to much for him. The rest of the staff were also very helpful and appeared happy in their jobs. The bar was a liitle disappointing in that there was limited space and some of the seating area was in the main thoroughfare August 21, 2014

Match days the service can be a little slow for hot food. If you do stay here, make sure you park in the capital car park as it is half price ( £7.50 for 24hrs) when you get your ticket stamped . The full English breakfast is excellent ,the sausages were the best we have tasted when staying in any Hotel.The staff at breakfast and on reception were very good and did everything possible to ensure a good stay at the Hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel This is a lovely hotel with a real homely feel. The staff are all great and do all they can your make your stay memorable. I ate in the restaurant and the set three course meal was tasty and very good value. The rooms are small but have everything you could possibly need, they're bright, comfortable and quiet. I'd recommend this hotel for both business or pleasure, it far enough away from noisy areas but near enough to get to all Liverpool has to offer. August 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel 2nd time staying here. Great hotel situated in quiet area of town. Friendly staff, nice clean room, nicely decorated and spacious room. Nice free snackbar in room with drinks and nibbles all replenished daily. Sugar seemed to be rationed to 2 sachets a day even when there was two of us in room. Great walk in showers. had problem with air conditioning at first but this was sorted right away. Would recommend hotel and definitely stay again. August 9, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at the Indigo Liverpool. We went for passport renewal but also had time to appreciate the position which is very convenient for major attractions such as the Walker art gallery and the Dock area. A little irritated about the car parking. We were parked at the Capital car park for 39 hours and expected to pay for two days (£7 per day with hotel discount) but were charged for 3 days because "the charging period goes from midnight". I assume this means that a guest staying for one night would pay for two. A minor rip off and worth considering when comparing costs with, say, the Crowne Plaza, which has better facilities and free parking. August 2, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel and fantastic staff I stayed in this hotel a couple of weeks ago, it was expensive as the city was really busy, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were really well equipped, clean, modern and free wifi is an additional bonus. The only drawback from the whole stay were the banging of guest room doors in the corridor. But this can be easily fixed with door closers. On the whole an excellent hotel, great location and friendly efficient staff. I would definately stay there again. July 30, 2014

Hotel Indigo is a great introduction - friendly service, bright, modern decor and pleasant, boutique facilities. The rooms are contemporary and comfortable with very soft beds, although the shower was a strange design not really meant for quick or comprehensive use. Breakfast choices ranged across all tastes, although the toaster had broken down when we were there and they only had one, so no toast! That's nit-picking, though, as the experience at Hotel Indigo is very positive. The staff were particularly helpful, providing maps and practical advice for what turned out to be a lovely stay. The room was a little small but very comfortable, the air conditioning was very welcome. The bed was comfortable and the complimentary drinks in the mini bar were also a nice touch. Breakfast was a little expensive for what it was. The location of the hotel is fantastic for the docks and town centre. Overall a nice, quirky hotel that felt modern and fresh. July 29, 2014

Has excellent facilities with very friendly staff who recognised my membership of the IHG Reward Club. The rooms are very clean and snacks and drinks are even provided and replenished on daily basis. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by name Restaurant that just happens to have a hotel above it The Hotel Indigo was very disappointing - it was difficult to identify from the street, had a very small bar and a ludicrous "blob" of a front desk. It is a Marco Pierre White Restaurant first and foremost that just happens to have a hotel above it. The hotel, whilst trying to be boutique to match the restauraunt, has a very average breakfast and is more of a similar standard to a Holiday Inn Express - i.e. budget with few frills - but at least the price reflected that. Lifts were broken (which staff did nothing about) the WiFi didnt work and the rooms are spartan and impossible to control the air temperature. The bed is comfortable and noise levels low which means you DO get a good nights sleep, and the staff are very friendly in their inefficiency, but as long as you go there knowing what you are getting - i.e. a cheap budget hotel above a classy restauraunt, you won't be as disappointed as I was. Staff friendly, good service checking in and out. Breakfast, lots of variety, full english and everything was hot. Danish patries after full english, nice touch. Staff in the restaurant very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were a bit warm. Beds/pillows very comfortable, rooms spacious and very clean, bathroom clean, power shower was great. July 15, 2014
