Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location Excellent location to visit the sites of New Orleans. Street car stopped directly in front of hotel. Hotel was well kept and room was large and comfortable. Would definitely stay in this location again. April 16, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OK but Not So Great The staff was courteous and friendly. This location is an attempt to fix up an outdated facility. It’s safe and fairly clean but the conveniences are limited. You’ll pay for everything including $3.00 for a bottle of water and they forget to replenish the morning coffee packages in the room and there is no grab an go coffee in the lobby. Plan on paying for that as well but best bet is to walk out the front door, take a left and walk down to the coffee shop. Taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost you $33.00 for two and extra if you have more. Many little irritations with this place, I don’t plan to stay again. April 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love, Love, Love this hotel! I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at this hotel. When we arrived, it was pouring down rain and only about 10:30 a.m. The front desk clerk allowed us to check in early and it was a blessing! We enjoyed the room so much! The bathroom was clean and bright, the bed comfortable and the sitting area was cozy and accommodating. Since it rained all day, we ran across the street to grab a quick lunch and returned to eat it in our room as well. The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast in the lobby dining area and the food was really good! Upon departure, the desk clerk called us a cab and assisted us with our bags. Everyone was very nice and we wished we could have stayed longer! April 15, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel For Peace and Quiet while in NOLA Hotel Indigo was the perfect place for a traveler wanting a place that is not too far away from the action of New Orleans and still also close to sites you might miss if you stayed downtown or near the French Quarter. Great things about the hotel is that it's in the Garden District and you literally step out the door and two steps you are on the beautiful St. Charles trolley that takes you uptown or to the downtown and the French Quarter (for only $1.25!). The staff, including the front desk, the bartender, and housekeeping were very very lovely and nice and so hospitable. I did have to wait for my room for a few more minutes than when it was supposed to be ready - but I didn't mind (I'm on vacation...who cares...) and the hotel staff graciously presented me with a free drink at the bar. The hotel is very very nicely decorated and the rooms (even the basic) room is so spacious - as is the shower and the bathroom. One minor thing is that I prefer a flat, not so fluffy pillow - but again, my preference. Again, the location is perfect to explore the Garden District and Uptown Area...as it's a 10-minute walk from Magazine Street (shopping and food) and it's only a 10-minute ride to French Quarters so you can take and leave the Quarter and tourist area at your leisure. Will strongly recommend to others and of course, stay at the Hotel Indigo - New Orleans again. April 12, 2015
