Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor service at breakfast Breakfast service seriously understaffed during our stay. It was disorganized chaos; the (only) waitress was overwhelmed and had to take and deliver orders, bus the tables, handle the bills, and deliver room service . She also had to advise the cook (!) how to garnish and prepare the food. Witnessed several people walk out of the restaurant due to the ridiculous wait times. If we hadn't included the breakfast with our package we would have done so also. The dining area also needed space heaters to keep folks comfortable....really???? February 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and Handy Location We stayed at the Hotel Indigo for 5 nights in February, and while it was absolutely freezing outside, it was warm and welcoming. The staff were helpfull and polite, the room was a decent size for New York and being right on the 1 Subway was really convenient. Despite the roof bar being closed most nights due to the sub zero temperatures, we would definately saty here again. February 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Arturo Imagine nasty snow storm in NY; lugging a suitcase off the train from Philly, winds whipping and I have 30 minutes to change and get to meet my client for lunch at Bryant Park....to the rescue Arturo and the front desk staff...they checked me in, checked on towncar pricing as no cabs were to be found easily or w/out windburn-frost bite...they called me with pricing as I got in my suit...they called the car and kept me posted as it arrived; whooshed me out the door so I was on time for my client. They were great! I've been here before and I keep coming back! They are in a good location for me near Penn Station. The rooms are updated and clean. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel good food but consistently slow dining room service. A nice boutique hotel, small but nice and interesting rooms. Doorman most helpful, front desk staff polite and efficient however the restaurant needs serious attention from a staffing point, only one waitress at breakfast (she tried really hard but was overwhelmed by number of guests), once the order was taken and finally came out of the kitchen is was hot and of good quality. Also, the dinning room was very cold no matter what time of day you went into it. We have stayed at other Indigo Hotels and have always been extremely satisfied, unfortunately this visit was tainted by our dinning experiences. February 18, 2015

Since I was visiting on business for a few days, I was offered a room at the back of the hotel so that I would experience less street noise. Upon checkout, the doorman walked a few blocks in the cold to hail a cab for me. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was firm and cozy; just how I like it. I would recommend this hotel to others. February 16, 2015
