Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by If you like to sleep in... Don't stay here. The construction going on outside is really loud, and the housekeeping staff is at it really early. Otherwise, the room was standard for a NYC hotel, the front desk staff was nice, and there's a cute bar on the rooftop to grab drinks at. January 21, 2015

I used points for the stay, so that was great, but do feel it was a LOT of points and have since seen ads for quite reasonable rates. I do recommend the hotel and having a restaurant (for breakfast) was terrific. January 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location Trendy, clean hotel, easy access. We where in town to see our new grandson and found everything about this hotel easy. Rooms where large by NYC standards and equipped with everything needed to have a comfortable stay. There was nothing I could complain about except the eggs which where over cooked, but the wait stafff was great so no problems. January 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by IndiNO This was my first experience with Hotel Indigo. I have been wanting to try this IHG brand for some time. I am a Platinum IHG Memeber and I am selective with the properties I choose. I expected to really like the property. It is modern and sleek. The positives end there. The beds are on par with a Holiday Inn Express. The only choice for pillows are what the staff called "puffy foam." It is one of the worst pillows I have ever experienced. The hardwood floors are so noisy. The sound carries all over. My shower was so cold that I spent 10 minutes wiggling the shower knob to the point I finally got the setting to get to a warm enough level I could bare it. The room is so tiny for a premium hotel outside TimeSq. I wanted to stay in one night and so I looked at the advertising in the room and it said the hotel had room service. I called down to the front desk and they said they don't serve in room, only at the bar. After going out to dinner the next morning someone left a room service menu under my door. In addition, despite to hotel has 15 floors the ice maker is all the way in the basement....very inconvenient. Bathroom grout needed a good cleaning. Overall I really didn't like the hotel. This is a 2 star hotel trying to act like a 4 star. January 17, 2015

The hotel is a short walk from New York Penn Station and 1/2 block form subway access. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the room rate was very reasonable for the neighborhood. This is a great choice for a business or leisure stay. January 16, 2015

The hotel exceeded my expectations, due to the exceptionally friendly, helpful staff, spacious (for Manhattan) room, and overall value. I usually stay at a hotel on the Upper West Side, which I love but has a starting rate of about twice that of the Hotel Indigo, but Hotel Indigo is now my go-to place. January 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly pleasant experience.... My first stay at a Hotel Indigo exceeded my expectations in every area. The front desk and hotel staff were extremely helpful and cordial. The hotel security is quite good, which made me feel safe during my stay. Although the room was not large, as few are in NYC, it was immaculate and in excellent condition. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything in the room worked perfectly. I did not get the opportunity to eat in the restaurant or use the bar; but both were very inviting. The menu looked terrific, and the prices were reasonable. I hope to try both on my next visit to NYC since, based on the very positive experience I recently had, I am looking forward to staying again at the Hotel Indigo in Chelsea. I highly recommend it.
