There were some renovations going which was little inconvenient due to some noise occasionally but overall was very good. One staff in restaurant could have been more friendly and smiling but the rest was great ,. I would certainly recommend the stay here. 11 August 2014

Competition for elevator between guests and work crew. Overall stay was quite pleasant, comfortable bedding and clean rooms. A mini fridge in the room would have been nice. Thanks to Alex and Carlos for answering questions and arranging transportation. 01 August 2014

Currently lots of building work happening although I'm not sure where. Nosy air con unit outside my door. No breakfast included, would have been nice to have this given the room rate. Between Fairway and Whole Foods. Around the corner from Starbucks and Duane Reade. Short walk from Penn Station and the Manhattan Mall. Lots of reastaurants nearby. Quiet enough for the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. This is like our "home" while in NYC. 30 July 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A bit small for 4 adults, but location was good The room was a bit smaller than expected. The two bed room was one of the few available in the Chelsea location. Bathroom was small, need to almost step into the shower to close the door. Poor quality showerhead/low water pressure. Hotel was close to a lot of great restaurants and attractions. 30 July 2014

Although it is not very big in terms of space but the beds are standard size and big enough for four persons. It is good for people to visit the New York City. We left our car in the parking garage which charges only $30 per day while staying in Holiday Inn hotel. 23 July 2014

The cleanliness of the room was exceptional. Rooms are very small, but is expected for the area. Parking for loading/unloading in front of the hotel is tight and very hard to get and parking in the private garages can be expensive (validated - up to $31 for 24 hr.) The restaurant inside was very good. The chef prepared a specialty dish for me and served right at my table, drinks were yummy but pricey. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly Recommend We just came back from our recent stay at Holiday Inn® Manhattan 6th Ave - Chelsea. it was a wonderful experience. Most notable was the excellent staff. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, always greeted us with a smile and a Good Morning or Good Evening. They made us feel as if we were their most important guests! When we inquired about getting a taxi for our trip back to the airport, the concierge took control and arranged everything for us, even giving helpful advice about traffic and the best time to leave to meet our scheduled departure. The front desk did everything to honor requests we had about our room. I was so impressed and right from the start I know this was an accommodating hotel and that we had made the right choice. We loved the location, too. I will always recommend this hotel to my friends traveling to NYC! 11 July 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Price Stayed at this location by looking at price. Parking was more than I wanted to pay but I guess no choice at NY. One of the two elevator was not in operation for a whole day, caused huge traffic of guests trying to both get down and up the floors. Room was average clean for NY hotel I guess, but soap someone else used was left behind and did not feel housekeeping was in great shape. Location was not the greatest if walking at night but I guess it was average for middle of NY. Over all, I recommend this hotel for those visiting NY. 09 July 2014

We would have chosen to eat at the hotel more often because, when we did, the food and service were good, however the menu seemed more geared to the 60's and 70's. No big salads, main focus on large amounts of pasta and huge steaks...just not suited to our personal preference for smaller portions (and our party comprised 2 70 y/o's and a 16 y/o). Maybe it's because we're from LA... we just don't eat such gargantuan portions and that seemed to be the restaurant's boast. (By the way, one of us is Italian, even he thought the portions featured were way too large). Price was also a factor, who wants to order an expensive steak knowing you can't eat even half of it? 08 July 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfotable pillows and great staff. Upon check in the lobby was small but looked inviting. Fast, easy check in and the staff was great at the front desk. Went to the bar/lounge and the servers and cook were wonderful. We were on the 20th floor and the rooms are quite small. The pillows were so comfortable and the beds were fine. Liked the outdoor tables to sit outside at night by the sidewalk. Overall the stay was good and so is the staff. 07 July 2014
