Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Room and Great service I loved my stay here. Convenient location, close to everywhere. August 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Midtown Location Very nice, modern, clean hotel. The staff was very helpful with all of our questions about where to eat and how to travel in the area. The rooms are on the small side, but this is not a con, as you will only be using the room for sleeping after seeing all of the wonderful sights in New York. The Empire State Building is a very short 2 block walk up 5th Avenue. The entrance to the 34th St - Herald Square subway station, that can take you anywhere in the city, is located at 32nd St. and Broadway just one block over. This is a great location for being in the heart of the city and having access to everything. I would definitely stay here again. August 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I enjoyed my stay The hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful, the restaurant food was good, the size of the room was not large but adequate(standard for NY) but it was clean and comfortable. Most of all the beds were comfortable. It was a good experience and I would certainly come back. August 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Stay in NY Really nice hotel. I can definetely recommend it. Fantastic view from the rooftop bar. Wi-Fi works properly. August 16, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel Bad Location We loved this hotel for a mother-daughter trip to New York -- but would have liked a better location. Food (pizza with the room) is not worth the bother -- really bad. We had breakfast one morning and it was great, but dinner was awful. Room was the size of a king sized bed with barely enough walking room around it -- fine for us -- and the price was right -- we weren't in it much each day -- but don't expect to be able to open two suitcases at once. Room service didn't come until 5:00pm one day -- so we opted out -- the next day they came around 10:00am. Staff is friendly, clean room and hotel. Location is on a side road and about 11 blocks from Times Square -- a good walk, but doable. About a $11.00 taxi ride each way if you're going to shows at night. Not far from subway -- $3.00 each/each way. August 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New York Stay For the price, this hotel is great. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Easy walk to Empire State Building and Time Square. We definitely would recommend this hotel to others. August 16, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellet hotel in mid-town Super clean property. Roof Top terrace an added bonus. Within walking distance of Penn Station, Times Square, Herald Square, subway, Broadway. Empire State Building faced my room. Hotel seemed new. Staff very nice yet professional. Stayed on 10th floor and did not hear any street noise. Very nice bathroom. Generous portions at restaurant. Will return to this hotel! August 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good and perfect location We came as family and found this hotel very comfort, nice shower, nice staff!! August 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Professional Staff, Rooms were clean and modern Great location and updated facilities. Very friendly staff. August 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New York vacation The hotel was clean, and the staff was very polite. Only 2 blocks from the Empire State Building and several places to eat and shop. Will be staying here again in December. August 4, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Affordable, Convenient, and Comfortable I thought this hotel was a great choice for our recent NYC stay. The room was very affordable for being so close to the Empire State Building and other attractions. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. I liked the bedding and bathroom especially. We had a nice view of the Empire State building, and the view from the rooftop bar was spectacular. The staff were nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant. It was just ok. They do not have a liquor license, so that was a bit disappointing, but the waiter explained they were working on it and they did have the rooftop bar. August 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent experience Is the Holiday Inn with the best modern facilities I have visited, and your staff is extraordinary. August 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay This was my second stay at this property this year. Lobby renovation is complete which makes the hotel that much more inviting. Rooms were perfect and staff was helpful. Really appreciated the very early check-in. First hotel in a long while where my sleep was not interrupted by revelers at 2:00 am (not hotels fault but DOES add to the comfort of the stay!) Kudos to management and staff. Will be back! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent Hotel with a nice roof top bar Pretty reasonable hotel, no issues with the check-in and room was nice and had a reasonable amount of space. LIke the idea of a fridge and microwave in the room as I was there for 10 days so that became quite useful. The restaurant food was good, although there is little to no atmosphere so I tended to eat and drink elsewhere. The roof top bar however was a great touch, a great experience with whatever drink rocks your boat. July 24, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked for us :) This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to subway, Empire State Building, shopping and not too far from Times Square. Rooms are comfortable and worked well for us. July 21, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lazy staff and noisy room I asked for a quiet room at time of booking. I got a room with a terrible noise coming from a fan outside. They were not able to give me a different room when I pointed that out and they told me to TRY again the following day. They were extremely inflexible on accommodating my problem: I was extremely busy and I did not have time to waste to comply to all their requests! In the end, I spent 5 days without sleeping. Moreover, the wifi is really poor: slow and unreliable. You can find much much better for the price they ask. July 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay in Manhattan My wife and I stayed here for a birthday trip to NYC. Location is great and rates were reasonable. Rooms are modern, featuring clean lines and slick bathroom. The crown jewel of the place is the Roof top deck. 19 floors up is a great way to see the skyline. This place will be my go to spot in Manhattan. Staff was great as well. July 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel for friendly staff I would recommend this hotel whether you are going on vacation or on business. Good location with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Neeraj S July 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great place to stay lovely surroundings in hotel, clean, beautiful rooms and great experience. July 10, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic view of ESB. Cool rooftop bar. Great location The rooms were a little small & had little space for 4 suitcases. Both times we stayed there were only 3 towels when the bookings were for 4.However, the rooms were nicely appointed , the beds comfy & the bathrooms nice, although a soap holder may have been good as the modern basins had none. The view of the ESB from the 14th and later 17th floor was excellent. The rooftop bar was cool & we ate pizza we had delivered & saw fireworks on July 4 up there. The 2nd time the disposable glasses weren't replaced each day which was annoying. The fridges were noisy in both rooms. The luggage storage organisation isn't the best. Having checked out we returned to collect our luggage which took 20 minutes. It didn't help that the receptionists ignored us while they cleaned the desk , then our bags were in the basement & took 2 trips to get. Then no one helped us out or offered to call a cab. One staff member stood outside and played with his pocket, completely oblivious to us trying to hail a cab which took 10 mins. Therefore, our trip to the airport was made more stressful as we lost 30 mins at the hotel. However, overall the hotel was nice and the location was great, we would stay there again. July 10, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location in New York This hotel is very well located, next to the most important attractions in Manhattan. Rooms are small but confortable and clean, great shower! very good value for money. Staff professional and friendly. The restaurant service has to be improved. First day we have been seated 50 minutes to be served, even if we were the only guests. Food not so good. Pizza included in the package horrible! We spent only 2 vouchers instead of 8 paied! July 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location Excellent location in Mid-town. Room was recently upgraded and very quiet. Front desk was very helpful. Best wifi connection and speed for Holiday Inn's in Manhattan. July 7, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No Room We got to the hotel at 1:00 pm so ok my room is not ready and we check are bags. i asked what time to come back to get are room . Was told to come back at 3:00pm. Came back at 4:00pm and are room was still not ready. After a half hour we got the room. Asked the front desk about a taxi to go to the Blue Man Group in . Was told they have a car service and it would cost $5.00. Came down at 6:00m asked about the car and was told they could not find one and just go out and flag down a yellow taxi. As for the room it was tight . But the bathroom was the worst. It looked great. But no where to put anything down on the sink and one small rack in the shower that just held the soap . July 6, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice stay I have been at this place several times already. I really the rooms bed and service. Sometimes rate are higher than expected but it's really a good place. Staff is always kind and open to listen. Pizza package is a good deal. Breakfast is not bad either and even if not free is fair enough for price value. July 4, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and nice rooms for the price. Great location, beds were comfortable. Only negative only one elevator working most of the four night stay. July 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Delighted with my stay I have nothing to complain about my stay. Everything was great. If they keep the prices where they are right now, this will be my first pick every time I visit NYC. July 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Location, comfort, and great service what do you want more. In a nutshell, a really great hotel. Location is great since you can walk to a subway station, restaurants, pharmacy, and stores. Comfortable beds, great staff to answer all your questions, and rooms are updated. One of the nicest Holiday inn that I stayed in and I do stay in a lot of Holiday Inn express in a year. I would certainly this hotel and take into consideration to rebook this hotel in our (my wife and I) next getaway (from our kids) to NYC. June 29, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broken Air Conditioner We woke up to a very hot room in the morning because the air conditioner didn't work. Also, the water pressure was very bad. For a $200+ room, this is unacceptable. June 28, 2013
