This was a shorter stay than my usual stay at the Indigo Newcastle. Nevertheless, it was another great experience. The room was fine and made to the usual high standards to be expected from the Indigo.
I always look forward to breakfast due to the pleasant and friendly nature of the restaurant staff at breakfast time.
Once again, my thanks to Richard for his utterly professional and friendly manner during the breakfast service.
And, of course, I cannot forget to mention the lovely Gemma who always has a friendly smile as part of her warm welcome in the restaurant at breakfast. She always has time to say hello.
So, another lovely experience in my home from home.

I've stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.
This is how the IHG groups hotels should be. I stayed in a Holiday Inn the night before and it was dreadful.
This stay won my favour back.
Clean, modern, friendly, great decor, amazing room, lovely breakfast, great location, on site parking, free wifi. It has everything you possibly need a hotel to offer.
Thank you for making my stay enjoyable

Great hotel, perfect location in city centre, clean and quality facilities throughout. They should close the inner lobby doors though as it was freezing in the bar whenever anyone entered or left the hotel.

Stayed on my own on a Saturday night. Staff really helpful and friendly. Very central for pubs, clubs and a wonderful cocktail bar immediately next to the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the Tyne bridge wallpaper! Ironing board and iron in the room. No running down to reception. A sparse but complimentary mini bar and free wifi. A generous check out time of 12.00 was extended until 14.00 at the request of a very hungover girl at no extra charge. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!

From the welcome at reception to check out it was a great experience the staff on Reception were attentive and gave me all the info needed to complete a great stay . The bar area was very well stocked and I didn't need to wait long at all for service, the room was clean bright and quiet very good stay , I would recommend to my colleagues and friends when in this area to stay here . Only small criticism is the car park is not well sign posted from the road parallel to the hotel, the road is hidden slightly to the car park entrance and I missed the first entrance , ending up on a lower section of the car park when there were a few spaces at the first higher section, nothing to ruin the stay just a observation

On arrival the girl on the desk was very welcoming and gave us a good insight as to where we could dine and have a few drinks ( her choices were very good )
We did not dine in at the hotel as the restaurant was very busy.
The room was decorated to a high standard and was very clean as were the common areas.
Our room faced the roadside - but we had no issues with traffic.
However we had issues with the sleep quality as the king size bed - was two smaller beds pushed together and unfortunately the mattresses separated during the night - thus giving us a poor nights sleep...We also had an issue in the morning where the cleaner entered the room and woke us up - surely they can wait until guests check out ........
