We drove from upstate NY for a three day trip to Boston. We didn't want to have to drive thru and around Boston and deal with the traffic, and the nicer hotels were out of our budget and you also had to pay for parking!
We stayed right outside of Boston, this hotel was minutes from the interstate and the train (T).
We were able to travel back and forth to the city via the "T" which was less than a 5 minute walk.
The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was incredible.
The only slight problem we had was that the train into downtown Boston was about a 40 minute ride. So if you wanted to go back to change for dinner it made it hard. We did the first night, but the second day we carried a back pack with a change of clothes. Other than that our stay was wonderful!

My husband and I booked a hotel block at Indigo for ourselves and wedding guests. The hotel was very accommodating. They were in frequent contact with me before the wedding. When we checked in we requested a refrigerator and champagne flutes and they brought them up quickly. The room was a little smaller than we would have liked but very clean with huge windows.

I've stayed at the Hotel Indigo Riverside in Newton, MA several times now and have not been disappointed! It is a botique hotel that is very clean with a pleasant, professional staff. Rooms are large enough and very comfortable. Breakfast is not provided, but there is a very nice grab and go counter for items like coffee, bagels, juice and fruit. Parking is free and you are just a short walk to the Riverside T. Also within walking distance of Lasell College. By car it is so easy to access from Route 90 and it is also easy to hop on 95. I plan to stay there again. In warmer weather, the pool is great!

I used reward points for the stay so my comments on value are skewed. This hotel is in a great location as you can walk over to the T to get into the city. It has free parking, and lively lounge/bar and a nice restaurant. The room was small but livable; however, the bathroom was ridiculously small which ruined things for me. I run for exercise and was happy to see a well equipped fitness room with quality equipment. That's always a concern of mine.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BostonRunner2015 Nice decor
My needs were specific as I was participating in the Boston Marathon. The runners box on the morning of the race was greatly appreciated. But I was given confusing information by the staff about the timing and availability of breakfast on the day of the race. It seemed that only the takeaway bar was open early to buy coffee and bagel or granola with yoghurt.

I stayed 2 nights this past week and the first morning the shower had almost zero water pressure. Not enough to take a shower. I called the front desk and they said someone would address this. The next morning it was the same issue. This hotel is VERY convenient to my office and if this occurs again, I will stay elsewhere.
