Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Honeymoon Hotel Because I had to have a cancer treatment in San Antonio at the same time we were going to be there on our honeymoon, we decided to choose an upscale hotel that was quite and kind of laid back. The hotel staff was excellent and we had a wonderful stay. Oh, by the way, I am 85 years old and have been in a number of hotels, Hotel Indigo rates right up there near the top. April 20, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by REVIEW WOULD HAVE BEEN STARS IF NOT FOR THE RESTAURANT! .Every expierence me and my wife had with this hotel went beyond every expectaion we had for this hotel. Everything was 5 star except the hotel. Food prices were high and items on the menu did not come out of the kitchen as stated on the menu. Chef salad came out without the ham, turkey and cheese and had to be redone. Menu stated there were 12 wings one the plate and I only had 11. And don't ask for a a regular order of fries as that will set you back $9.00) thats right I said $9.00! I still can't beleive as I type this review. This is what the waiter said when I questioned the price of the fries, he said the CHEF said and I quote "If they want cheap fries they can go down the street to MCDonalds. Also it seemed the price for a cup of coffee changed prices daily depending on who sold it to you. If things change for the better in the restaurant and these things get fixed, this Hotel would be a 6 STAR hotel PS we stayed in a room next to family and they wrote a seperate review. April 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Pleasant Surprise Hotel staff, facility, and guest room far exceeded our expectations, especially when driving through downtown San Antonio to reach the Hotel's entrance. The only disappointment was the on-site restaurant -- the menu was limited, the chef forgot to add key ingredients to a dish (i.e., meat to a Chef Salad), and prices were unreasonable (i.e., a side order of French Fries cost $9.00). There were other issues with the restaurant, just be careful what you order and the price quoted on the menu or at the counter. April 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful modern hotel Beautiful clean hotel. Really loved the outdoor lounge area and pool. So accessible to the riverwalk. Located in a quiet area of the riverwalk but you can easily get a water taxi to take to the restaurants. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here. April 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff Check in was a breeze, and the woman who checked me in was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The hotel advertises it is in the River Walk, and it is, but it took me 20 minutes to walk to the part of the River Walk where there are restaurants and shops. Food and service in the hotel restaurant was inconsistent. One day the service and breakfast was great and the next day the food and service was horrible. My server was busy dusting a part of the restaurant. Cleaning should be done when the restaurant is closed, not when guests are eating. The room was clean and comfortable. The guests in the room above me were rather loud, I think they might have been wrestling or bowling, and the sound came right through the ceiling. April 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyed/Miss Enjoyed stay. Liked Staff:Joe,Renee & other front desk nite staff, except Marie who seemed in a hurry when we had questions. Waiters Barbara and Jeremy great. James bartender was very helpful to answer questions about cafe after hrs. Room beautiful and met most of our need.s, liked hardwood floors, coffee, balcony, table, TV outlets, beds, closet and coffee nook. We did miss having a tub, room 252 got a lot of lobby noise, and the 1" opening around our doorway let in all the hall noise plus felt unsecured. We thought there would be a hot tub by the pool, and were surprised the sauna was bolted shut on the beautiful outdoor patio. Parking was a little strange but it was good to have carts and drop off space in front. We liked the ability to have trolley service and appreciated the concierge. April 10, 2015
