Fire alarms and no water on Thursday night and fire alarms throughout the early morning until late morning! Will not be staying here again as you adversities riverwalk and your not even close and no compensation for no water all night and then no sleep thursday night!!

-first day, only one elevator in service. Large drawer in table between beds would not stay closed, a hazard when getting out of bed.
-second day, woke up to jack hammering at construction site outside my river view room. No iced tea with my breakfast, server told me they used leftover tea from night before for breakfast and they ran out. He also said he could not brew tea.
- third day city water main breaks in front of hotel, no water for that evening or night. Management makes no attempt to let guests know what situation is.
-fourth day, waken up at 5:00 am by false fire alarm. Decided to call it quits & left my conference early.

I liked the hotel, but it was far from everything fun. The area was a little scary at night. I though the price was a little high for location. It was at least 1/2 hour walk anywhere to eat. But the hotel staff was great. The room was too warm. Not cool enough for me, even though we turned down the thermostat. I won't stay again.

one of the nicest staff I have ever encounter. Everyone goes out of their way to provide you service. The Décor is so modern and the rooms are modern ,large, and inviting. I love the Kerig coffee maker in the room. And it is great that they allow pets, so many hotels do not allow pets! the parking is across the street so there is not a long walk to your car. It is a little farther away from all of the activities of the River walk so get ready for a long walk. They do have a river taxi which comes by every 30 minutes but we were never able to catch one. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel service is the best I have ever experienced.

Just a few minutes walk along the riverwalk from all the hustle and bustle. Walking distance to Travis Park makes it a perfect place to stay during JazzSAlive. Highly recommended

The Hotel Indigo is a great place to stay. Close to happenings in town, on the riverwalk. Front Desk service by Alex was impecable. It was my birthday and he treated me like VIP. I would highly recommend a stay here!

This was a good place to stay. Even though it isn't on the main river walk the river taxi comes often to pick you up . It is only 10.00 for a 24 hour pass. This hotel had a nice atmosphere. You have to park right across the street but there were no issues while parking there. There is a fee unless you are a platinum member. We did not eat there but the dining area was bright and festive. The patio area is very nice with nice chairs with soft cushions and a large pool.

We enjoyed a pleasant weekend away. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though it was busy. The room was spacious with a large TV, coffee maker and fridge - a microwave would have been nice. The shower was awesome! Good pressure and high ceiling in the shower.
The only reason we don't give an 'excellent' rating was the dinner we ate in the restaurant.
I believe the food is all pre-prepared and bought via Sysco, and then reheated as needed.
My Rib-eye steak was coked in a convection/microwave oven- no searing, overcooked and yet gray in color - probably the worst steak I have ever had in my life. They offered to cook another but really had no-one who knew how to cook a steak, so it was pointless.
The fajitas were dry and overcooked, with a scoop of packaged guacamole and pico - obviously not prepared fresh on site.
Also, if you want to get the Riverwalk Taxi ticket, be sure to get the upgraded one that includes the 'Museum loop', as the standard downtown loop ticket does not include the river up to where the hotel is.
The parking was $13 per day, but being a platinum member I was offered the choice of free daily parking or free breakfast - I am glad I chose the parking!
So, plan on eating out, and you will love this place.

Stayed two nights at your wonderful hotel, it was my wife's first time in San Antonio and staying at your hotel was great. Staff was great and helpful. Room was great with a view of the river walk.

I was referred to this hotel via work associate and was very pleased with the result. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful and my room was very clean, comfortable and modern. Main level was warm and inviting and the parking couldn't have been easier.

I had stayed at another Hotel Indigo in San Antonio and was favorably impressed so I decided to try out this one. Unfortunately, we found it to be a very average hotel. What was supposed to be a river view was obstructed by thick trees. The staff was not as friendly as the other Hotel Indigo we stated at. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again in the future.

This hotel provided a decent stay. Upon check-in there was a foul smell when taking our things to the room around 5pm. Upon our return back to the room approximately 1:30am, the strange smell was long gone and was not there the next morning when checking out. However, the water in the shower did not get warm/hot at all. Therefore, cold showers were taken that early morning (night) and again the next morning. Also, when booking online we chose the option that includes the parking package. When receiving the bill it reflected an additional charge for parking. When checking out at the front desk and explaining to the manager on duty the slight mishaps, he was accommodating but providing breakfast vouchers for the cold water incidence and deducted the extra parking charges. Overall, the stay was pleasant and very close to the River Walk which made up for the inconveniences for our stay.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. I was very happy with my stay.
One thing about the title though...while it technically IS on the River Walk, it is not where all of the shops and restaurants are. That's about a mile away. I'm keen to walk, however I find this title slightly misleading.

The hotel has nice curb appreal. Front desk, maintenance and housekeeping are very friendly. Room was clean, loved the wet bar. However the room smells musty and although the a/c was running/cooling, the room was very humid. May be a leak in the line. Was out for most of the day and returned in the late afternoon. A note was left by Iris in housekeeping that the towels were being dried and she would deliver ASAP. The towels were never delivered.
Restaurant staff friendly. Appetizers are good. Breakfast could use some help. I ate at the bar, no silverware or napkins were offered. Toast came dry with no butter or jelly offered.
Making another trip in October and will have to think about whether or not to stay at the facility again.

This was our first visit to the hotel. It is quaint and the decor fits San Antonio. It was wonderful. The room was very nice as the hotel upgraded our room to one with a view. The staff was very pleasant. The food was good. Service was wonderful! I would rather stay at this hotel then some of the big high-rise hotels they have downtown.
We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the river walk. The pool was clean and the patio was nice. The hotel is about a mile from the main river walk, and we enjoyed the walk to the shops. They also offer a river taxi so if you do not feel like walking you can pay when you get on and you can get a ticket good for 24 hours.
I read several reviews about this hotel and I must say 99% were positive. Then again you can't please everyone. What really matters is that we enjoyed our stay and will do so again!

We chose this hotel to stay during our visit based on the proximity to the downtown river walk, local attractions and easy access to the freeway. The room design was very sleek and comfortable. The staff was always willing to go above and beyond. The hotel parking lot attendant was very pleasant and helpful. Our stay was Wednesday thru Sunday. The river taxi service was easy to access. Most of the time we preferred to walk along the river. This is a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic which made it much more enjoyable.

We have stayed at many hotels and we believe the staff at this one made us feel the most comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. We arrived early and that was not an issue for them at all. They immediately offered to put our luggage in a storage room so that we could relax until our room was ready. We had a small pet with us so that was a big help. Any request that we had as soon as we were in our spotless room was granted almost immediately. We couldn't have asked for better service and we were sure to let the staff know that when we departed.
It was an unexpected trip so being treated so well was very heart warming. We will surely stay at this hotel again.

This was a weekend getaway for my son and his girlfriend. We have been Priority Club members for years but we have never stayed at a Hotel Indigo before. Our normal choice is a Holiday Inn Express. I called him as he was checking out to inquire about the hotel. He said it was real nice and modern but he was really surprised to find the room with dirty floors and a dirty toilet. Most disturbing is that he said he killed as many as 20 millipedes during his two day stay. He wasn't too concerned or upset. However, I am disappointed with his experience, as this was also a birthday gift from him mother and me. I would have asked for a different room. In any event, I don't ever recall experiencing anything like this myself before, so I would be willing to consider this hotel in the future myself should I be in the area.

I'm a IHG Plantinum member spending many nights in the various brands and generally find the accommodations above average. However, this was a first time staying at the Indigo brand on the river walk in San Antonio, Tx and was blown away by the refreshing decor--the outstanding staff--room comfort--and really every aspect of the stay. I'll look purposely look for other Indigo hotels to stay at during my business trips and hope to find the same quality across the brand that I experienced at the San Antonio-Riverwalk Indigo.

Several items that did not fit well for this location was that parking was across the street without a desinated crosswalk, which should be added for safety in the future while crossing over, along with security cameras for the parking lot, especially at night.
Room service was very poor, we did get an upgrade to a larger room, however on two days of our 4 night stay we did not receive room service, I had to go to the front desk and request towels for two nights, not happy about this at all.
Front desk staff (Michael) was very professional and did an outstanding job, explained the reasons, but for an Indigo Hotel, I expected better service.
Riverwalk was as stated, however was quite a distance from the "Hot" spots, so plan accordingly.
