We loved staying here. It was easy to find and was located right there on the River Walk. We walked from there to Main Street on the first night. Beautiful!! Took the a full water taxi tour through the entire River Walk. It was beautiful. We did it at about 7:00 p.m. so it was evening. Would definitely stay here again someday.

This was our first time stay...we enjoyed everything about our stay. We loved the balcony overlooking the river. We found the room size to be spacious. The housekeeping was very attentive. We thought the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated the boat taxi stop at our hotel. The hotel was very quiet and out of the downtown hustle and bustle. As you can tell we really enjoyed everything about our stay and are hoping to make a return visit. Thank you staff!

The rooms were clean and spacious. You hardly hear any noise through the walls and we were located at the elevators I was shocked by that. The bartender Ryan is a hoot! Definitely stop by the bar and say Hi. The only things I didn't like was they don't have early check in, the hotel isn't located near any dining, and the parking sucks. Be very weiry of leaving any items in your car.
Don't check in on Friday. We had to waiting at least 30 minutes for the guy to hand out pay checks before he even helped us.

Went to San Antonio for a River Walk and leisure experience. Hotel Indigo oversold itself on its Riverwalk location. Although on the Riverwalk which is 7 miles long, Hotel Indigo is a 30 minute walk through business offices to get to any key liesure locations. Room was very noisy, over a dumpster that was picked up in the middle of each night. If hungary, eat somewhere else. Food was limited and marginal. No free breakfast.
However, to be fair...hotel was decorated nicely, clean and rooms were nice. Staff was very helpful with tourist questions.

I've been traveling for pleasure and business since 1964. This was the absolutly worst experice ever. Don't forget and leave anything behind (espicailly if its something to eat and expensive). Housekeeping will assume that you just didn't want it any more or or could not take it for some reason. Rather then calling on the phone to make sure, they just take it home and eat it and then when you complain send you the leftovers. Usually I do not leave bad reviews but the varity of excuses offered to me have been so totality unacceptable that I just had to say something.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jack222 Awesome room Great location
Indigo river walk exceeded my expectations in every way from the moment we walked in until after we left. Location was easily accessible and parking was a breeze.
The front desk staff was pleasant at all times and responsive to questions and requests. At the bar the staff provided outstanding service. The room and facilities were well maintained and clean.
The room and the overall design of the hotel blew us away, it was more than expected and the room was very comfortable. We slept comfortably on the king size bed and woke up relaxed and refreshed.
Location on the river walk made it easy to have a nice romantic walk and dinner as well as visit some of the local historical sites and attractions.
This was a great place to stay and I have recommended it to my friends!! Thank you to all the staff who made it worth the stay!!

Loved everything about this hotel. The rooms are big and sunny. Great location and parking lot available across the street at a reasonable rate. The sinks are a little low in the bathrooms, but other than that the rooms are comfortable and quiet. I will make this my go to hotel in San Antonio.

The room was very nice. The restaurant was not a full service restaurant. The staff needs to be trained better in the restaurant. Our food was served cold. We waited 30 minutes and another person asked if we had been helped. We said our food was ordered 30 min. ago. He checked and it was sitting on the counter; The inexperience waitress was taking money instead of serving our food when it was ready. Another couple that came in after us was half way through eating their meal while we were waiting on our bacon and sausage.
The food was overpriced.

we choose the Indigo because of its known style. We loved the Riverfront place and a room with balkony is just wonderful to enjoy after a long day. The few to the water and to the flower bushes was great. Front desk was friendly and helpful, Housekeeping was good, rooms very clean. I highly recommend this place and we will come back to see more of San Antonio and will defenitly stay at the Indigo.

From beginning to end this was a very enjoyable stay for my friend and I to celebrate my birthday. The river taxi is available right there to take you to all of the destinations. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Rooms clean, beds very comfortable, and I have a comfy one at home! Alex at front desk very friendly, Matt the bartender, one of the best ever, and both of us are bartenders!!! James and the chef were fun and friendly from the dining room. The grounds and pool were beautiful. Love, love, loved our stay here!!!

I don't know where to begin! We totally enjoyed our stay! Beautiful entrance! Our room was huge! I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years and most do not compare to the size of our room! We booked a double queen for my husband , 5 yr old, 1 yr old and my self. Our room had a small sink and cabinet area, small two person dinette set, nice large dresser, with nice size flat screen tv, huge couch which also was a sleeper sofa, ottoman and two queen beds! With plenty of room leftover for my sons pack and play! My children had plenty of room to move around and play while in our room! We slept amazingly I might add!! Nice cold ac, incredibly comfy beds and nice linens on the bed! I hate those old cheap scratchy sheets! When we booked we thought we were suppose to have a microwave in the room. We noticed right away there wasn't one. Called down to the desk asked was told no the rooms DO NOT come with microwaves. He told us uphe would see what he could do. Within 5 minutes a small microwave was sitting on our counter! We couldn't have asked for better service!
Two things I will say. Our unit only had a shower which was huge! No problem with size and was really nice but, it was hard with small kids that normally take baths. We made it work. Also the parking lot to the left of the building is a little scary when driving up and u get a kind of uneasy feeling! Lol. But, that quickly faded when u actually entered the building. I don't even know who that lot belongs to because the hotel guests did not park there.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BGT2723 Housekeeping was not my favorite
The day after our first night's stay, housekeeping did not come by until after 4pm. I was ok with that. The rest of the week all we received was basic housekeeping service. Was kind of disappointed. I expected the room to be returned to it's original state each day.
HBO was advertised, however channel was not available.
Bartenders Matt & Ryan were absolutely OUTSTANDING! They both have customer service down to an art!
Our room had a large balcony overlooking the Riverwalk. It's a must!
Would love to see valet parking.
This was my first stay with Indigo. Overall, It was a great experience and I plan to stay in the future.

Unfortunately this hotel experience was not all that I was hoping it would be. I picked Hotel Indigo based on the reviews and pictures displayed on the website. I planned my San Antonio trip as a Anniversary trip with my fiance and we were both disappointed upon arrival. The outside of the hotel is surrounded in fence and the fence has all sorts of grafiti on it, which did not make me or my fiance feel very comfortable. The entire location of the hotel must be on a not so great side of San Antonio. We had to walk a tremendous amount in order to even get to the main part of the Riverwalk. The hotel staff did not even offer for directions or to call us transportation. The staff was another problem. The greeting staff was decent. I have been greated with much more pleasing and happier staff. Also when we were trying to order food the hotel food staff was very unorganized. The main person taking "orders" was messy and dirty. His uniform was untucked and stains were noticeable. He also has a bad attitude that appeared as if he was very unhappy working there or even interacting with guests. My finace was furious with the service that was being provided. The only good part of the trip was the hotel room. It was actually nice, our view from the room was gorgeous (besides the construction work) the air conditioner worked perfectly well and the bed was comfortable. The other downfalls were we kept hearing kids run up and down the hallway all night, which was annoying. And the bed skirt was clearly dirty and had not been cleaned, as well as the wall paper. It didnt look like they had been touched in a long time! Kinda nasty. Would I stay here again? Definitely NOT. But maybe youll have better luck.

I'm a traveler and visit many cities and countries. I really enjoyed my time here at this hotel. Matt was the BEST! He is so sweet and listened to my questions and gave good tips on where the best locations are downtown!! Everyone has been great! I feel the only downfall was I didn't get a balcony... should've booked more in advance. Oh well my stay was great!

Myself and two girlfriends stayed at the hotel for two nights. We were impressed as soon as we walked in. It smelled fresh, clean, looked fun and modern from the lobby to the rooms. The staff was helpful and polite. The room overlooked the riverwalk, and the hotel had direct access down to the riverwalk.
The only negatives we could say was that parking was a bit difficult, and the elevators were not ventelated and very hot.
Other than those two minor details we very much enjoyed our stay and this hotel will be on the top of our lists when we visit San Antonio again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nickname34 Great Properly. Had too many little service quirks.
The location, staff and hotel was great. The only problem was that expectations were not being met regarding service the first time. However, when we complained, the issue was eagerly and courteously rectified. Just wish that everything would have happened right the first time so, we didn't have to go through the exercise of getting things made right a few times.

We arrived about 30 minutes before check-in and room wasn't ready. We set in lobby to wait as my mom is disabled and we wanted to get into the room so she could rest. We saw about 5 other families check in while we were waiting there. I finally decided to ask around 3:20 if our room was ready yet and they had someone go check on it. I guess they rushed to clean it because it wasn't the best. Bathroom was yucky in the shower and entire room didn't feel clean. We stayed at this location for the river taxi stop and the value. I LOVE Hotel Indigos and stay frequently as I'm a platinum member and i was very disappointed in this stay. Despite the room being probably one to the dirtiest I stayed in, the front desk staff was horrible. The first gentleman I spoke with seemed irritated I asked to check in early. He seemed confused by the entire process and told me he'd call me when the room was ready. Then while were were in the lobby waiting, there was one poor guy doing all the work while this other guy stood there talking and laughing with this other female employee. The nice guy brought our room keys to us in the lobby when it was finally ready. Just very unprofessional.
