There are lot's more positives than negatives, comfortable beds, great pillows, super staff, smashing shower, quality breakfast continually refreshed.
So what are the negatives - a deluxe room, well if the only advantage is a street view, don't waste your money, it's a narrow street that can be noisy with waste lorries at 2.30am. Towels a tad on the small side if you are fat like me.
Other than that, and these are not significant, pretty much an excellent hotel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DBROWN46 Convenient location and quiet for sleeping
This hotel is within sight of a METRO station and just a few buildings off Gran Via. The block is not particularly attractive but by walking away from Gran Via, it is easy to access the historic area with winding streets and great pedestrian access.
The bed was absolutely the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The room was large and the bathroom was also and equipped with quality amenities, including robes and slippers. The WIFI was strong and we appreciated a Nespresso machine, refrigerator, safe and flat screen TV.
I would have rated it higher if they offered a complementary breakfast but it was so easy to make coffee in the room and then walk to nearby cafes.

The Hotel Indigo gave a great boutique hotel experience at a reasonable price. The location was extremely convenient to the metro as well as many of the tourist attractions of Madrid. The rooms were clean and modern and the staff were beyond helpful, especially Jessica at the check-in. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Madrid.
