They are willing to help and put your needs first in any situation. Whether it be where to eat, fun things for kids or grabbing a cab. They have a positive attitude and kind demeanor. From the Management to the Bell hop. It is a place that I would recommend. Thank you for making this last trip such a nice time especially because it was my sons birthday :) May 22, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed blessings I made the reservation at the Chelsea Indigo Hotel after an extremely positive experience with the Sarasota property. Well, I guess one cannot replicate that in New York. In NYC, rooms are small, streets are noisy (especially noticeable when the windows are not well insulated) and New Yorkers are not as friendly as Floridians. The Hotel is very well located in walking distance to Penn Station and right next to the No. 1 subway. but beware that it is also right in the middle of the Flower district with noisy deliveries starting in the middle of the night. So try to get a room in the back of the building. The Indigo like many hotel chains in the US now provides down comforters. But as long as they don't put them in comforter covers but put sheets on top and bottom one still has to struggle to keep the "package" with you. While the restaurant is not part of the chain but managed by a separate company, its understaffing negatively impacts on the Indigo brand. One poor single server had to take care of the breakfast crowd, including room service at least part of the time. She was VERY efficient and did an amazing job, but nobody was happy with the long wait times. May 7, 2015
