As with many HI Express...just what the Dr. ordered after a long day on the road! Extemely friendly and accomodating staff, great room with great amenities (free internet, fridge), and a great bed with excellent bedding. Had a peaceful, relaxing stay

This is a good stopover location if travelling from Vegas to San Francisco. Even though there was renovations underway, this hotel offered most of the amenities for family vacation. Our room phone wasn't working but the staff at reception offered us to use their phone without any charges. Also he credited my Priority club account with points for inconvience.

This Holiday Inn Express is truly a diamond in Bakersfield! I was very pleased with my stay and I will choose this hotel from now on when staying over in town. They are remodeling so I had to register through the back of building, but even that wasn't a problem. It was well lighted and the staff was great. Lots of luggage carts. My room was clean, pleasant smelling, the linens were clean and no 'visitors' under the mattress. Plenty of towels. They had even turned the cooling and light on for me! (important to a woman traveler) There was a minifridge, microwave and coffee. I would recommend this hotel to families or solo travelers.

Only thing that was Poor, was that we ordered the Lovers Package, but when we arrived they didn't have any in stock, however, we were credited $30 to bill, and given a free bottle of Apple Cider, tho we had no way of opening it. The hot tub is Very Large and Comfortable, i would definitely Recommend it!!

We stayed here with our granddaughter's soccer team for a weekend long tournament... Everyone on the hotel's staff was helpful and friendly both to our group as as a whole, and to each of us as individuals... They "bent over backwards" to meet our needs from a complicated check-in process, to attentive care of every detail during our stay the entire three days we were there...

The staff was friendly and helpful Our room was clean and ready when we arrived. Cookies were yummy. We will definitely stay there again.

The room was great and despite the renovations that occurring in an on-going capacity, the hotel was quiet and provided the necessary respite after the work day. However, I experienced some issues with the exercise facility that was not addressed. Three weeks had passed since I brought the issue of no signal to the television in the exercise room, and despite the time span, no efforts were made to correct the issue. On my current visit, this issue was again brought to the staff and I was told that this was the first the staff had heard of this issue. Nonetheless, a sign was placed on the TV that it was temporarily out of service and remained that way through the rest of my stay. I have had similar non-responsiveness from the staff in the past and would not recommend the hotel if you require service, but only require a room.
