Please see prior comments made regarding the room cleanliness. I am not the only guest that had the same problem during this time period, and I anticipate that every single room needs to be inspected by the health department, or completely cleaned and sanitized.
I also wish to note that while I stayed in a smoking room, it does not mean that I wish to accommodate a room that smells as bad as this room did. These rooms should be given a special cleaning post checkout. There are cleaners you can use specifically to aid in ridding the smoke smell. I had to keep my bedroom window open the entire stay just to keep the fresh air circulating.
I also wish to add that while clean, the lobby area is just not sufficient for the arriving and departing guests. I would suggest opening up the lobby area to provide for a more adequate area for guests during check in/out.

I had some issues with check that left me a little frustrated. I intended on speaking with the guest service agent upon check out, however, once I opened my door to the hallway, I was happily greeted by the Operations Manager.
She immediately asked of my experience and how they could done a better job at making my stay exceptional. We had a long talk about my concerns, which led us to the front desk. I felt her concern was genuine, and she wanted to help. This interaction alone made all my frustrations with my experience melt away.
The desk agent and her addressed my concerns and then some, making me feel like a valued IHG member I am accustomed to.
Based solely on the importance of guest satisfaction, I will return, and most certainly recommend this property to anyone needing to be near Boston, but who perhaps don't want the headache of staying IN Boston.

The hotel staff is great, and for someone who lives out of a suitcase, each Hotel is just a place to rest, but the staff is what makes the difference. I would remommend this locate to anyone.

I could not find a room with 2 beds so we booked on-line a suit with a fold out bed. When we arrived at the room there was no fold out bed. Upon checking in at 11:00 PM we had to wait 15 minutes for the night clerk to show up. The heater/air-conditioner did not work properly and it took a long time for the temperature to change.

This was my first time staying at a Candlewood Suites hotel. My room was very clean, smelled fresh, newly updated, comfortable bed and pillows, free laundry facility and coffee. I would definitely recommend them! Only draw back is the parking, the construction and the trucks taking up too many spaces when there was a limit already due to the snow piles. Coming to the hotel at night and having to walk through a parking lot did leave me uncomfortable.
