The kids (7 and almost 4) enjoyed the pool and spa as much as we did- we were by ourselves at the pool 2 out of the 3 times we were there. The outside courtyard with basketball net was a nice touch too. The staff was so nice, the breakfast buffet had a nice variety and the room was spotless. I would definitely come back. We never made it the Corning Museum of Glass while there so we have a good reason to return - hopefully soon!! 14. Mai 2013
Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Longtime guest, latest visit very disappointing We have stayed at the Staybridge Corning for years and have had excellent experiences at this site. Recently, customer service levels and staff training have slipped exponentially. We reserved a King Size non smoking suite, and were provided a room (not a suite) with a queen size bed. We opened the door, realized we were not assigned the room we had reserved and called the front desk. They were unapologetic and not accommodating in the least regarding their screw up-and we had no option but to stay in the room. The clerk offered to take 50 dollars off the room rate, but we found ourselves wondering why reserve a particular room when you don't get it? In addition staff failed to communicate a new pet policy at registration (75 dollars/night). We have brought our dog to the Staybridge at least twice annually for the past ten years, uneventfully. Having no way of knowing that the approach to pets had changed, we only discovered this when the clerk stood outside the door playing detective (rather than just asking-we would have been happy to volunteer the information). I went to the front desk to fill out the paper work she demanded we complete on the other side of the door (again, communication of the new policy at registration would have been helpful), and asked to speak to the manager. I had to ask three times for the managers name before her first name was provided by the clerk (first she claimed not to know her managers name). The manager was literally hiding in the office behind the front desk to avoid the discussion, offering her staff no support whatsoever. We are two corporate vice presidents who will take the time and trouble to communicate our dissatisfaction with this experience to others. Not sure what happened here to decimate a good motel, but a decade long family of customers won't be staying again. Pathetic. 13. Mai 2013

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by A Great Place to Stay in Corning Fantastic Location, 2 minute walk to shuttle to Corning Museum and downtown. Service is excellent, facilities and amenities very good. Staff is great. Well managed property. Highly recommend it. PS the included breakfast and afternoon snacks were a nice touch. 23. April 2013

I have stayed here more than anywhere else and have never had a single problem. Check-in is quick, the rooms are always spotless, and the staff is courteous and helpful even when I need to change my plans. To summarize: simple, efficient, polished, and polite. 17. Februar 2013
Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by No heat We stayed here for one night on 12/21 and the heat did not work as we slept. I woke up to the room being 63 degrees and the room was set to 72. After telling the manager, all he did was apologize. I am extremely disappointed and being a platinum member, I expected a little more from this property. I definetly will not recommend this hotel to anyone. 3. Januar 2013

The management and staff were skilled at making sure guests' needs were met but doing so without being noticed. The room was comfortable, the pool and hot tub were well-maintained, and the complementary breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend this inn. 1. Januar 2013
