I stayed only one night, but the location was excellent, staff was very helpful indeed, breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable. Receptionist always had a smile on her face, very good advices... What can I say - highly recommended!
P.S. I even got a welcome letter written in my mother tongue - wow, that never happened to me in hundreds of hotels where I spent a big part of my last 14 years!

Wir waren eine kleine Reisegruppe und alle hatten ein Einzelzimmer. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet und bieten grosszügigen Platz. Das Hotel ist ideal für Entdeckungen zu Fuss gelegen. Das Frühstück bot eine überraschend grosse Auswahl von Brote und dergleichen. Ein super Hotel zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

We were a family of three adults staying at the hotel visiting another family member. While the exterior of the hotel and its location do not impress, and the room was not large for three (double bed and sofa bed were very tight), all else about the hotel was wonderful. The front desk and breakfast staff were welcoming and efficient, the breakfast choices and freshness were excellent, and the room was comfortable and clean. Would recommend the hotel...And don't forget to ask for senior rate if this applies!

Good value for money hotel in centre of St Pauli. Within short walk of St Pauli football ground and match bars. Easy to get to from airport using metro and short walk form Reeperbalm station.

Hi - Staff good and helpful.
Rooms extremely small and they STINK. the washroom has some smell which is prevelant in all the rooms and there is not enough space if 2 people are living in the room.
Please note I am a gold member and probably spend more than 100 nights a year in different hotels including holiday inn and this was one of my worst experience in Holiday inn.
inspite of complaints I dont see IHG group doing something to satisfy the customer.

Good and nice hotel in general.
However I did not like:
* Wifi was not working during my stay and I could not do my work as I expected... a significant waste of time.
* I had to pay at check in which I don't like at all.
* Parking was full

This hotel proved to be an excellent choice being close to the U and S bahn railway system as well as being within walking distance of many of the Hamburg sights and restaurants.
The staff were excellent and could not do enough for you when asked. The room was small but contained everything needed for a short stay and extremely clean and comfortable, surprisingly quiet considering the Dom (fairground) was fairly noisy outside.
Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of quality foods, and included in the price of the room.
Will stay again when next in Hamburg
