Our stay was announced for two persons (my wife and myself) for five days.
We only missed the possibility to store our luggage to empty it not just put it on the floor. As well as we had to store it beside the bed on the floor looking a little like camping! Then we missed a fridge as well. Staying close to a week, it would be perfect to have the possibility to have some cold drinks not only at the bar. I know that the Holiday Inn Express is a business hotel but these things we missed. And because of the fact that it is a business hotel I hardly missed the free wireless internet access. This is just a need to offer not a nice to offer for guests. Paying 5 € for 24 hrs and then even problems to login again, sorry not what I expected.
Otherwise, we appreciated our stay, the staff was excellent, thank you for taking note, regards, P.M. Schneider

My hotel of choice when traveling through Hamburg. Promises nothing that it cannot keep, value for money galore. Highly recommended.

This seems to be a newer edition of het Express group. Blue instead of red decor. Nice and spacious entrance area. Rooms are standard and comfortable. The nearby subway allows good access througout the city. Good location and fair price-value relation.

The staff was pretty rude. they didn't recognition for priority member. The guy wanted me to pay for internet! I had to tell him that I am a platinum priority club member to get free internet. but it gave it for me, even if I booked 3 rooms for all the band. Not even to my wife in my room.
The location also is not central at all

Going forward this is my hotel of choice when passing through Hamburg.
It delivers exactly what it promises, and at this price, it is a no-brainer.
Free breakfast, Priority Club Elite driven free Wi-Fi and great proximity to the free-ways.
